Exotic class items are vault space hogs.
Please consider making them craftable.
We could sacrifice a specific roll and have it unlocked permanently at the crafting table.
A resource sink could be the enhancement of the exotic class item to allow togglable perk slots (level 1, 2 extra slots.. level 2, 4 extra slots?). This would free up character inventory space.
They would still remain as end game chase items, this would also allow players to track what specific rolls they have (this is difficult at the moment, third party tools exist just for this) and would free up a ton of vault/character space!
I think most players would strive to fill up the library of rolls (Division 2 crafting works this way - 100%ing the crafting bench was a fun little side quest).
Please.

Yep and the exotic special sword too. Between the class item and the sword I have like 100 slots of my vault taken up.

When I read the title I was like no way, everyone needs something to grind for, then I read the post and I’m totally on board. Great concept. This could work for all weapons as well so we don’t have 2 or 3 of the same same weapon for PvP/pve. -
Oh and I was thinking more from collections then the crafting table. Maybe 2 drop downs. First choice decides what becomes available on your second column.

I'm with you on that 110%.The only thing I question is if it's possible to build them as you've received them. In other words if you pick the first column perk it can only be paired with a second column perk that you previously owned with that first column perk.Maybe a drop down menu on the second column showing what your choices are to pair with your first column choice.Pairings that you've actually owned. That way you can also check to see if the new ones you get are dupes. If they could get that done it would be great! My postmaster would thank me! She's busy enough as it is 😁

Or maybe don’t keep garbage rolls of them? There’s maybe 6 MAX that you need to keep per class.

Good God yes I have Like 50 of them in my vault

Edited by Ursine: 4/12/2025 6:46:27 AMI agree it should be craftable, but you can only choose perk pairings that you have acquired/dismantled. The farm time doesn't change, you can swap between all the versions you have acquired, but doesn't take up extra space.
