Ah another marketing scam from good old Bungie. Why should I re-purchase seasonal armor ornaments from an old season pass that I already paid for? Instead I can’t just get them for free?
I did not play during the season of the chosen (this weeks silver bundle) because of the current state of the game during this time
It’s honestly pathetic.
-
The Chosen ornaments are among the ugliest Bungie has ever made.
-
They aren’t selling raid armor ornaments, they’re selling something everyone could easily get and if you didn’t, that’s on you.
-
You bought disposable content, you scammed yourself if you didn’t bother getting what you wanted from it. Learn a little responsibility.

Edited by ShootDangImissd: 4/17/2025 7:50:29 PMYour fault for not playing during the designated time. Literal 0 interest to those who think they deserve to be handed rare ornaments after putting in the hard work. Blizzard did the same thing and sold pvp titles. Stone guard. Grand Marshal. Except you could have earned them yourself in the first place. Lol this post is a winner = 0/10 pandering . Lazy. Now you have to buy it when you spend vbucks on some stupid xxxtenexxation garbage

Those armour set ornaments are absolutely awful as well. I laughed when I saw the pop up advertising them.
-
I like the option, but they should be purchasable with bright dust.
-
You mean you paid for something, but Bungie won’t give it back to you? Like all that content in the vault I can’t access, but I definitely paid for? File a lawsuit, call the cops. Oh wait, they can’t help? As a consolation prize, buy Marathon, maybe they’ll take something from that game away from you also.
-
Yeah that's not a scam lol If you purchased that season and didn't complete it that's on you. There's also people who weren't playing at that time so they would have no idea it ever existed. Maybe someone likes them. I don't. There's also players who might not have completed the set. Maybe they want them. Doesn't make it a scam.
-
It's almost like Eververse is just one big scam. But that would be ludicrous.

Edited by xbroggiex: 4/16/2025 7:19:28 PMThey'd probably make more money if they just resold the battlepass for like 1000 silver. Anyone who genuinely buys these throwback bundles of existing ornaments bungie put 5 minutes of effort making into an eververse bundle with an insane markup are complete idiots.

-
I like the option but they should be available for bright dust as well.
-
game is with a maintenance team now, everything is gonna be recycled maintenance teams don't care about anything but generating revenue at the lowest cost possible, how to max out cash shop metrics at the lowest amount of content game is insanely profitable but declining so they treat it like a loser because all that matters is appeasing shareholders
-
Bungie..... doing scams on its community? Next thing you'll tell me is that cookie monster has an addiction to cookies. Yeah right
-
You didn't pay for them, you paid for the opportunity to earn them, which you evidently did not. Also nobody is forcing you to buy them.
-
There should at least be a 6,000 glimmer option like with holiday event skins
-
Just like this game is a scam
-
well you knew what you were buying when you bought a season pass, you KNOW you pay for accessing the loot in there and to progress the ranks you dont pay for the loots inside directly or else you would just get them upon purchasing instantly you didnt finished the thing you bought, knowing it would be lost loot, you made your choice, its not a scam, its just an IQ issue here :/ as much as i hate BP in games, its how they are and if they want to bring back the armor sets for those who werent around/ didnt finished the pass back then, its their right, as much as it is yours to not buy it
-
It’s not Bungie’s fault that you chose not to play back then. You have a free-will to choose to (or not to) buy it. You alone failed to do the requirements when you first paid to get/keep access to the items.
-
The issue here isn't that they're charging you for the ornaments The issue is that you bought an annual pass without knowing for certain whether or not you were gonna have an interest in keeping up with the game. I buy annual passes because I know I'm gonna play each season in a given year, I'm dedicated to it, that's a given for me. But you don't need to do that. We have always had the option to just buy the content we actually wanna play. Just the expansions, just whichever given season we wanna do, just the dungeons even. I am personally of the mind that all season passes should be the way they are in helldivers, where they last forever and you can pick up whichever ones you want, but that's not the standard and we know it's not the standard. Part of it is on the business model, part of it is on the consumer to spend their time and money intelligently.
-
You paid for the content but didn’t play and earn it
-
that's the real price of the items, that's why season pass are decent, lot of silver items for small amount of money. But yeah super old items should be less expensive / at least a big BD bungle
-
What scam? Not everyone played at the time but want the ornaments. Try for a moment, if you can, to recognize you aren't the sole target audience in this game.
-
How are you getting scammed if you don’t actually own them already?
-
You can't repurchase them, dip. You can only buy them if you don't already have them.

Edited by Oogyman: 4/16/2025 3:12:44 PMOh yeah! I saw that the other day! There is one I forgot to claim from way long ago. A helmet I liked. I mean, I know they discount by the piece, at least I hope so with these, too. So if you have 4 out of 5 pieces, the one last piece should be a nominal price, but I understand. I feel its bad faith business to charge even a nominal fee, for something that was a part of something you purchased. If we had that season pass, and just forgot to claim something, we should be able to grab it for free when it comes around on the cycle again. I don't mind waiting, but paying again is very dishonest, and dirty as hell. Its optional, sure, but that doesn't make it right. Just getting ahead of that ridiculous "justification" people like to throw around.
