Actually the Nether is quite fun

I didn’t notice the boons before, I’m a big fan of Arc runner and the fire/stasis slides, feels like it completes my build. I only wish there was no mission end, which is a credit to the nether activity to be fair. What I like most about the nether is that the try-hards aren’t nearly as annoying as they are in say a nightfall, everybody can eat.

  • I like it just don't like the healing and token crap.Loved the Dreadnaught in D1 and am happy to see it in D2 even only for a few months until the episodes get removed.

  • Kind of shocked but it is by far the best seasonal activity in a long time. Being in the dreadnaught also brings back a lot of memories. Masterworked, triple-perk guns in the 3rd and 4th column have started to drop for me and it’s actually fun grinding for them.

    • I like it too. It’s really not bad with the right loadouts and strategy (and most importantly, the right ghost mods build) but I wish shiny adepts would drop much more. With 1 perk per column on regulars, along with 1 less origin trait, and so much rng, it’s practically impossible to get the rolls you want on them, and shiny regular weapons may actually be better then a adept non shiny weapon.

      • Yeah, if there were actually patterns to collect in the Nether, I'd be playing it way more, it's actually pretty fun. They did a good job with it. It's just a shame the loot doesn't feel worth it, since it's all rng that clogs up your vault.

        • I think the only thing that really irritates me now is the fact that healing orbs have an invisible cooldown which makes them do next to nothing for like 15-30 seconds.

        • It's overflow from the pale heart.

          • Boggles my mind that a number of people were campaigning to have the Neather nerf'd(after the healing fixes) saying they could not even complete the intro mission to the Neather. Thank the gods Bungie did not cave in to the demands of the casuals.

Initially I hated it. Now, I’d say it’s one of the best seasonal activities we ever had. The loot is the issue now. Just insta delete at this point

              • Strand builds are so good in the nether, I wish they were as good outside the nether as they are in though. After this episode I will miss how fun the strand builds can be, hopefully Bungie will make these strand builds stick around after the episode ends so strand can be amazing forever in the future 🍻

                • I like running a Invis Hunter in there with Graviton Forfeit. Getting the Class regen mods. Keeps me alive running solo. So far I have soloed Expert a Titan and Warlock. My next one is going to be on a Hunter. I initially did not like the activity but I have grown to enjoy it.
