PVE vs PVP
I am 77 years young and a real combat veteran. I hate PVP in games, so I focus on PVE. However, there are multiple occasions in Destiny where you are forced to do PVP to achieve rewards, quests, etc. I believe you need to have a way to move up or get rewards without having to do PVP. If you have 12 things you need to do and 3 are PVP, then give a reward to a PVE player when they achieve 9.
Anyway just thought I would suggest that.
Is there anyone out there that agrees?

Second, be ready for an inundation of annoying prepubescent keyboard warriors screeching that D2 doesn’t [b][i]”force”[/i][/b] anyone into PvP, ignoring the fact that many of the best weapons in the game are locked behind Trials of Osiris or Competitive. Third, this exact topic has been a bone of contention with this community for years. You unfortunately aren’t the first to wonder why things have to be this way, and you certainly won’t be the last. It’s not likely to change any time soon, but hopefully it won’t be a dealbreaker for you. Peace.
