Reveal Thoughts/Questions
Random Shtuff I have questions/thoughts about.
-Lodi is Gordon Freeman. They've never been seen in the same room. Can't change my mind.
-Ash and Iron BETTER bring back Wrath or it's pointless. ThE pLaGuElAnDs, great. Gimme the raid.
-Not a SW fan, but people are overreacting with truly weird opinions on what Renegades with VERY little info. I suggest reading the blurb about it in-game. It sounds like the story could be good. Who doesn't want to chase down a new Dredgen?
-If you have the fortnite take, you'd probably fall for the scratch and stiff sticker on the pool floor.
-Everything but the DLC's being free is a W.
-Kepler abilities W.
-Armor set bonuses W.
-NLB lmao, but it's a pre-order bonus so likely busted.
-If you saw the whole reveal and your first inclination is to whine about vault space, I'm not sure you understood the logical end of what you just watched, but either way, the D2Team twitter already confirmed that and "other QOL changes" will be coming in Renegades.
-Shooting Range was a popular request so congrats to that crowd.
All in all, I think a lot of is reason to be excited. I'm still firmly out on pre-orders, but I'll definitely be pulling up on Day 1 of EOF with my $40 and we'll go from there.

I think the retconner lore babies are hilarious.. and will be fun to watch (I mean it can last forever cause they are gonna buy and whine)... cause overall what I see the actual gaming experience is being looked at and looks to be better. 1 ReplyHonestly, with Edge of Faith being two months away, they should have shown a lot more than what they did. The entire stream was just tell don't show. And I understand Bungie likes to keep their cards close to their chest, but they cannot afford to do that with the game and community in the state they are in. It doesn't help that the stuff that they did show was either disappointing, or not given enough attention for a concrete first impression to be made.

For me - I enjoy making build and having new abilities to play with. There being no new subclass, no new aspects for existing classes even is very disappointing for me. They have spent effort into making location locked gimmick “abilities” that no one is going to use once they have unlocked any secrets etc. instead they should have revealed at the very minimum some new aspects. I will not be getting this unless there are more reveals that interest me. I hope they show more stuff.

This old tortoise enjoyed the ‘reveal’ stream…new directions…doing things differently…a big reset…etc. Kudos to Sony-BHQ! Loved the Star Wars stuff! It’s a big Universe out there…Cylons…The Borg…Daleks…zombies (🤪) My big Qs are about updating the game infrastructure / architecture to cope with all the new stuff…updating to DSRs from P2P…etc… I need more vault space. Or a better system that enables me to store / retrieve a weapon / gear - as desired, just like my own armoury irl. We already ride broomsticks…sparky fingers like a Sith Boss…Cat masks…giant worms a la DUNE…etc… Light Sabres + Eager Edge are going to be this old tortoise’s list…same for the Death Star ghost and the SW Ship! 👻 That is all. I'm still possible day 1 but with borderlands 4 & black ops 7 to wet my appetite for the future I'm gonna wait & see, I'm gonna check out borderlands 3 & black ops 6 this week & see where I land. I'm not out but I'm absolutely not in either, I dont honestly think there's enough there & I'm still worried about game performance especially when marathon hits the servers, but it's been my favourite game for a decade & walking away is always hard. Like you, & Natalie imbruglia, I'm Torn
