Limiting API calls from 3rd party tools such as DIM is NOT the solution

Hey Bungie, DIM (Destiny Item Manager) actually makes Destiny 2 playable. Limiting API calls from 3rd party tools such as DIM would actually drive players away as it negatively impacts player experience. You are obviously trying promote Marathon by cannibalizing your other products to the extent of curtailing budget allocation to Destiny 2 servers. We all know that Marathon has a very low replayability value and would die before Destiny 2 does. Hope you re-assess your decisions and not drive Destiny 2 players away.

  • Any API related app has issues interacting now. Tracker sites fail to load, 80% of the time, but will after almost 10 attempts. It makes me not want to play the game if I cant manage my weapons and loadouts with DIM, or check my progress in activities with tracker sites. Marathon is going to flop (me and none of my friends have any interest in it, I actually dont know anyone who does), and the focus still needs to be on D2 to be their cash cow. Throttling servers to make space for Marathon, which is what I assume is being done, is a mistake. As I attempted to post this... it proves my point https://imgur.com/ZnLv8sB
