After playing D2 for about 10min. any activity. It will freeze and crash. No error codes or any reason to why.
I recently upgraded my pc to RX 9070. I was thinking this was the reason. I updated drivers, disabled all the extra stuff like anti-lag, and uninstalled and reinstalled destiny 2.
The problem keeps happening.
Please help!

Edited by Locke: 5/10/2025 2:42:48 AMI know this was a problem on the RX7000 series. If you have any overclock or undervolt on your GPU including a VRAM tweak, it is likely causing the problem. Destiny 2 seems to be very sensitive to overclocks on Radeon graphics. This would be an after market overclock. If you have an overclocked model but you did not apply a custom overclock, it is probably not this.

My PC crashes same way too with 2060 SUPER.

Hey I'm also having the random crashes and I have a RX 9070 XT. The crashes just showed up after the update. Can you do me a favor and type Event Viewer into you search box, open it and on the left, double Windows Logs, the double click Application. There should be an Error there in the list, click on it and see what the Exception code is and let us know?
