In game voice chat lowering windows microphone input volume

Exactly as titled. Activating push to talk lowers my USB microphone input volume. After using push to talk, any input into the microphone, regardless of whether push to talk is activated, will lower the windows input volume. Only happens when destiny 2 is open. Applications do not have permission to take exclusive control of the microphone, and automatic gain control has been disabled in each app that uses my microphone. I am losing my marbles troubleshooting this, I can’t even use discord because the input volume lowers within windows 11. Any ideas?

 • Hello there, Thank you for reaching out. We understand Destiny 2's in-game voice chat is lowering your mic's volume. This does seem strange to us. If you haven't already done so, then you may wish to refer to the Voice Chat Settings section of our Destiny Audio Guide. The info it contains may help you to resolve this. If the issue seems to persist, however, then please let us know if you've also checked your Windows settings using the Windows Game Bar, accessible by holding the Windows key and typing G. You may be able to ensure no applications can adjust your mic levels on there. If you've already tried this without success, though, then please let us know.
