Seriously, every enemy fires 24/7/365.
Every enemy drops gunk on the floor that hurts. Everything does splash damage.
Everything 1 or 2 shots you unless you run a cheesy Titan build.
Bungie, this -blam!- isn't fun. It's exhausting. This is why your game keeps dropping players.

How are we still complaining about PvE in this game when it’s never been easier…
-
and in every piece of hard content, consoles get shafted , because the difficulty is always adjusted per PC's.
-
Bungie: It’s all we got for development ideas. Oh and don’t forget the “Stomp” mechanic that always sends you flying off the map for a cheap death. 😉🤣
-
Bungies idea of difficulty has been “More ads, make them have aimbot and super tanky” instead of adding actual mechanics that increase difficulty or make it a bit harder.
-
I don’t mind the high damage and competent enemies. That just promotes good buildcrafting. The timed encounters for no reason are BS though. Let’s just say if the “aquatic descent” part of ghosts of the deep is timed on ultimatum it’s going to be the worst dungeon encounter in Destiny history.
-
I agree the game is dropping players because they think the enemy shooting back is a cheap trick.
-
Sounds like you just need to humble yourself and get better at the game.
-
another day another SITS post , but yeah pls bungie make the enemy that never shoots even in contest mode thanks, And btw the biggest tank build is on hunter, not knowing how the game works is not cheap tricks is skill issue

Edited by Axolotl_Roadkill: 5/13/2025 2:52:12 PMJust don't play RotN on Ultimate, then. And if all it takes is using "cheap tricks" then why aren't you using them?
-
You had me until you claimed Titans to be kinda op which we are not Imho. Suffering from the same pain here.
-
Ngl, kinda sounds like you got frustrated from not knowing how to position. In reality, bungie could thearetically make every enemy much more difficult, but at the end of the day; the cyclops spawns in the same place, at the same time, enemy waves start at the same intervals, objectives stay in the same place.
-
I know how to make it tougher!!! Let's shut off all forms of health recovery!!!
-
Well said Also let's not forget when a weapon is doing great on help they reduce the mag, reduce the aim assist,or just nerf it to the ground to make it utter garbage
-
agree that they are making gameplay tedious instead of fun it's like some neverending mechanics escalation from the devs they basically see players doing anything repetitively and they devise a mechanic to make that hard or impossible to do for long. Like cover? Get rid of that. Like bunkering down for a bit? get rid of that. Like having an end to the mobs after you kill them all? get rid of that. Like constantly damaging the boss? get rid of that. Like being able to relax and snipe? get rid of that. Like being able to see? get rid of that. Like knowing where to go? get rid of that. Like to be able to relax for a second during battles? get rid of that. Like relatively quick but fun boss fights? get rid of that. Like using your favorite armor and weapons? get rid of that. It just goes on and on and on. they forget that the main thing we spend in this game is time and their job is to make sure that they entertain us during that time so we don't do something else instead of their game and cash shop

It isn't part of the current Rite but taken Phalanxes also badly designed like when one of the charging his shield to do a push attack it still can hit you if you stand behind cover before the attack and i lost a few llife in a GM because of it like i can't even go behind cover?
-
This is a result of not being creative and just making the same content more difficult, limiting lives, etc. This is not a good move at all, and it’s actually making, a game I’ve enjoyed for a long time, not very enjoyable anymore.
-
The worst part of the “difficulty” is the massive health pools of the bosses meaning you are reliant on RNG dropping the correct amount of heavy ammo forcing you to use Aeons or more commonly Cenotaph which means a lock is a necessity!

Not if you’ve bothered to moderately build a load out. Higher end difficulty isn’t for you. Luckily there are lower difficulties that already exist.

4 sentences that explained the massive skill issue we’re witnessing

Having almost every raid title while simultaneously complaining about Rite of the Nine is wild.

Somewhere Bungie decided that trying to kill the player was a better route to difficulty than making scenarios that are meant for the player to solve. If you know, you know.

You're not going like ghost of the deep

Just saying it’s hard carrying these forums I gotta say it’s hard being that guy
-
Between that and them resetting power for every expansion…. I’m not doing all that again. The games flooded with sweaty crap that just raises my blood pressure and causes me to just be anxious all the time. Completely unnecessary
