This game is becoming deranged; It’s just plain stupid!!!
If Minotaurs and other enemies can just blink out of the way every time you charge your fusion rifle, you just made that weapon archetype completely useless and we might as well be holding a limp noodle. What the hell kind of gameplay is that?! It’s just plain stupid. You keep trying to show us how difficult you can make the game, and I guess because you’re able to make the hardcore gamers (who seem to be psychotic sadomasochists who associate suffering with fun), feel some pain, you’re pretty proud of yourselves. But for the rest of us mentality stable and sane people, Destiny 2 is becoming deranged. It takes zero imagination to create overboard painpoints in a game. Even I can do that and I’m not even a game developer. How about instead of just focusing on how much you can make us suffer, you focus on making the game actually enjoyable?! Not everyone is sadomasochistic; some of us are actually normal.

1 ReplyI swear to god they pay people to whine about the most milquetoast and basic -blam!- being difficult. So when people bring up actual problems like overbloated health pools, extremely tedious mechanics, or anything that's legitimately bad game design. They can just go "see, you guys are literally unpleasable and will complain about anything!"

1 ReplyI agree with you, surprised someone voiced these things actually. The amount of annoying things cpu adversaries do, is a reason why I started disliking this game, and playing less, I only started playing, like ten weeks ago. I want to focus on gameplay, and the story, and enjoy it, instead, they put all these insufferable, awful, tedious little things, and the guns have these -blam!- quirks, and imperfection, and it's because of the personality, and mentality, of the people who made, and direct this game, it's intentional, it's there on purpose, when it has no purpose, and shouldn't be there, it's poor game making. I am in my mid thirties, I have played a lot of video games, never have I seen this in any respectable video game, or any video game for that matter, if games like this have existed from the beginning, I would not like, nor have any interest in video games, but that's not how it was, there were good games, the other game maker who does things similarly, is DE, and they pretty much lost my genuine interest as a player, my passion to play their game has been completely massacred, and they peed all over it. No one fights like this, it's very stupid indeed.

And here come the wacko Bungie apologists that completely miss the point. You hone in on one thing you can use to be a toxic troll while missing the bigger picture. This game has become unbearably stupid. The fusion rifle thing was just one example of how the game makes almost everything we do useless, and it’s tiring. We have enemies like Tormentors who can instantly shut down our Supers and Abilities; DUMB! We are constantly locked in closed spaces with no place to take cover or strategize; DUMB! The game is extremely fast paced requiring us to be constantly shooting and moving, but we have slow loading weapons and enemies have various ways to constantly slow our movement; DUMB! The fact that enemies have so many advantages and can shut down almost anything we do makes this game, DUMB, BORING, and TIRING. It’s a damn video game, it’s supposed to be fun and make us feel like a Gods. I can feel like an average Joe in real life, which pretty much defeats the purpose of playing a video game.

4 RepliesIf you cant handle a minotaur in a lost sector just say so my guy..... Perdition is like a 2 min clear at 2040... which you are... I think that you just need to learn the timing of when to shoot.

On many occasions I felt pressing trigger to shoot my gun, triggers the enemy evade at the same time. Pure excellence in game design by bungie.
