How exactly does time gating do that?
Instead, the event should have a progression system. All dungeons realized at once, in ascending difficulty. To get to the next dungeon, you have to complete the prior one on normal.
Keep the explorer option and the normal option.
The more you play the event, the further you get. So you are only limited by yourself, not some BS time gating to get people to log in.
The only thing the time gating does is take the wind right out of the sails of all players, experienced and new alike.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
