First things first I’ll admit I don’t know the ins and outs of making a video game but as a gamer I would’ve thought you’d want to get all the dungeons and quests out over the first three weeks (at the latest) so we could spend the rest of the time leading up to the next DLC grinding for whatever it is that we wanted.
The strategy y’all seem to have chosen though feels as if we’ve been going up the beginning of a roller coaster getting more and more hyped for this event only to begin going over the edge and have the breaks engage and we slam to a halt when we get hit with the reality that we’re starting with the dungeon with the least interesting weapons perk wise and it’s going to be the only option for the first three weeks (as far as we know).
My clan was looking forward to the challenges and the grind but now since this all we’ve got for the first three weeks the only thing we’re looking to do is get a single gold clear and finish whatever quests are available. This decision has just deadened any wind we had in our sails with regard to grinding your game and it’s a real head-scratcher as to why you decided this was the best approach.
Also, it’s cool you’re giving people the opportunity to get the dungeon exotics/gjally catalyst, I have no problem with that but not a single option for those who already have these three things? Nothing? No shards, no cyphers, no bonus event currency option? Pretty disappointing. There’s probably not a whole lot you can do about this stuff now and who knows, maybe your reasons for doing things this way somehow make the most sense for you guys but from where I’m sitting as a gamer it doesn’t make sense at all so hopefully y’all can explain it and make it make sense for us or perhaps next time think more like a gamer when you’re planning your next event’s rollout.
