Topic is the question…
My answer at the moment is PETTY.
A good portion of the vocal community behave like spoiled children.

I can't use the word .. My Post would be insta-flagged and would result in a six week ban... So I'll go for the softer approach. The player base ( or the ones still playing ) are self-deluded and believe that Bungie will deliver the goods... This just isn't the same company that used pride themselves on community spirit & the man In Charge cares more about waxing his Classic Car collection than delivering a Polished Product. The End is Nigh... I used to believe.... I used to defend this IP I used to consume product. But when the Garden becomes a Toxic dump... it's time to find greener pastures. -
Delusional I think that this is better because it applies to every group

Fractured And prone to making sweeping generalisations that do nothing but divide it even more. The 'community' is the vocal part of the group that play the game & they are a small percentage of the over player base. Most jus play the game. Most ppl have never been on these forums & don't go ranting on socials about Datto this or Grenader that.. Internet culture has essentially killed any genuine discussions as ppl jus shout o er each other & cry 'shill' or 'hater' Not to mention the various scandals by content creators & Bungies own staff. There was a time when the game was so good I could ignore all the drama. But that time is rapidly approaching it's end. Sad to see.

Honestly, most Guardians in the community are positive. I would label them as "durable". They take hits, and keep on investing in the betterment of the game. Of course, not all ideas/opinions are shared, but the root goal is to see the game better, and these Guardians endure the ups-and-downs that Bungie throws at them. Of course, there's the ones that can be negative, toxic, entitled, annoying, or any other term, but I choose to focus on the good versus the bad.

Edited by GradeMyGuardianTTV: 5/14/2025 6:34:13 PMConfirmation Bias If anything doesn't fit their preconceived fantasies of what the game is/should be they are incapable of objective thought & recognition. "I like Rocket Sidearms though! They don't need a nerf." "I hate Titans, nerf them!" "Pit of Heresy is too EZ tho!" They completely lack objectivity in their views of Destiny.

There’s a lot of great players in the community. If you’re talking about the forums, then I’d say unstable, immature, reactive, toxic and entitled would be words to describe half the forums. Choose one and it fits for sure.

I'll give my answer as ENTITLED There's plenty more words I'd use but that one is solid enough. I believe the vocal community won't be happy until we're playing a walking simulator/shooting gallery where every dreg in the EDZ drops god tier loot. They'll stomp their feet and cry and whine until bungie caves and gives them handouts, aspirational gear and content is dying in this game.

One word - WITHERING 🧐 That is all. Ease Springs! 🙄

The ones that are on the forums or in regular games? PvP or PvE? I feel like each has a separate answer. The most inclusive descriptor would be fractured.

Edited by Kareem4361: 5/14/2025 11:24:23 PMSpoiled children, with no manners, who are no fun, and have a chip on their shoulder. It's just a game, it's not a real achievement, and guess what? people with high achievements, who are decent, are not arrogant, and don't put other people down. Learn to chill.

Kind of goes along with yours, but I'd go with the word whiny. A majority of things I see on here are just the same people whining daily, weekly, or monthly about the same things each time or whatever the bandwagon is currently on. I do find it funny when there's a post by someone just to whine about something in the game or coming to the game, and then you go and look, and either they have never played what they are whining about, play it constantly, or have already bought the thing that's coming.
