Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some help regarding unlinking my PSN account from my Bungie.net profile. I was recently made aware of the updated restrictions on unlinking accounts, which were put in place after I initially linked my PSN. At the time, there was no clear warning that unlinking might eventually be restricted or locked.
The 90-day Cross Save cooldown also prevented me from unlinking before the policy change took effect. Because of this, I’m kindly asking if a one-time unlinking exception can be made. I completely understand the importance of account security, but given that this policy change was retroactive and not properly communicated, I think a one-time exception should be considered as the standard.
Thanks for your time, and I appreciate any help or insights you can provide!
As a side note, upon linking a new account it states on the cross save screen
-You will not be able to unlink this PlayStation account for 90 Days
this is misleading as it implies that after a 90 day cooldown you would be able to unlink.
If this is the case then please say as the issue raised would be a non issue, and I'd be more than happy to wait the 90 days.
(cross save has already been deactivated on this account)

Sorry bud. As per Bungies policy there is no exceptions. The linked accounts are now permanently bound.
