Bungie/D2 removed my name but is not giving me a name change? I am just supposed to be "redacted" forever now?
As title says. I've had this name for quite awhile, use it across multiple platforms including my steam (which my D2 is linked to). When I moved to PC I used the same name as my steam for consistency, and just now I logged on to find my name had been changed to redacted with a cross save notification. I went to my profile to change it to something else cause whatever, it happens, but it states I have no name changes available.
My name was not harmful in anyway and now I can't even change it to something else? Why am I not given a name change if you are forcing me to lose mine? I can understand removing racist or derogatory names, as well as ones that are harmful in some way, but seriously? None of that was happening.

If your name was changed for you, this means it was in violation of the [url=https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Legal/CodeOfConduct]Code of Conduct[/url]. Bungie does not provide details as to why specific names are actioned. If you have a name change available, you can use it to change your name, provided the new name passes inspection from the name filter. If you have no name change available, as you say is the case for you, then unfortunately you'll be stuck with the name you currently have. 1 ReplyIf you never changed your name before this, you should have some name change tokens. Something has happened to those tokens and we have lost them. This has been addressed as a known issue, but there is no timeline or info about when it will be fixed.
