I have two extremely weird glitches which crash my game - specifically the screen freezes but I can still hear what's going on in the background.
Glitch 1 - I can rarely use in-game chat. When I press enter to open game chat on my keyboard - immediate freeze. This is very annoying, as I can't join LFGs. Occasionally it won't crash - but that's 1 in 5 attempts or so. However, usually when I open in-game chat with my controller - it doesn't crash. It makes no sense.
Glitch 2 - My game freezes in crucible when I'm point-blank melee'd. It's not every time - but once in two or three matches, whenever someone kills me point black with a melee it hard freezes (and is not responding in control panel).
I have no idea what to do to fix this. I've verified files, I've done a completely fresh install of windows, updated drivers, etc - nothing works.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. Just to confirm, since you didn't mention these options specifically, have you also tried clearing your Steam cache by going to Steam>Settings>Downloads>Clear Download Cache? And could you try running Destiny 2 with as few applications running in the background as possible to see if the situation improves? Also, please be sure to let us know if you ever get any error codes when these crashes happen. If it doesn't, we'd like to request a DxDiag for your system that we can use to attempt to identify the issue. Please follow the steps below to generate a DxDiag: 1) Hold the Windows key on your keyboard. 2) Tap the R key to open the Run window. 3) In the pop-up window, type: dxdiag. 4) Press the Enter key. 5) The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will load. 6) If there is a pop-up window asking about digital driver signing, click Yes to proceed. 7) Click the Save all information button. 8) Click the Save button. 9) The file should be saved to your desktop as dxdiag.txt. 10) Click the Exit button. Once you have the DxDiag, please share the information with us here (you only need to provide the information from the "Diagnostics" section).
