How I'm prepping for EoF....

Stage 1 was exotics. I masterworked every exotic that wasn't that was worth saving. I unlocked the Cipher slots for almost everything, I have some exotic class items left to do. Stage 2... I finished last night, I wanted to be below 500 in my vault. It took me 5 passes but I hit my goal. Stage 3: In it now for about 2 months, weapon by weapon... everything worth enhancing I'm enhancing. I'm about what 90% done as of tonight. Stage 4: a. Restocking my mats which I have the tonics for b. Stack exotics - LS's and Tome of Want c. Bounty prep d. Enhancement Core grind until launch - tonics. Notes on Methods: CoB doesn't have tons of drops, but tons of adds and yellow bars applicable for both tonics and the Tome of Want. The Tome of Want pushes... if your character engram slots are full. It is much faster than LS rng. Ascendant Alloy and Shard tonics unlike the Tome of Want can drop multiple mats per proc that lasts 2 hrs. 2-5 alloys or shards. I've had 2 drop within 10 mins of each other then got a msg I was being reported, lol. Because they work everywhere... and there's a pop-up everyone on your team sees. Side note: Also got reported in CoB for ability spam, if you pick "Ritual of Greed" then don't die... you'll have basically instant cooldowns on everything. If you combine that with "Ascendant Slayer" that buffs your ability DPS vs. Bosses... plus "Banner of Light" (regens your super every 2 bosses/every 2 major mechanics), then stack runes to tier 3 after (using the last slab buff for CoB)... it turns you into a wrecking ball in CoB. I'm using CoB for mats and exotics... because it seems to yield the most, at the greatest possible efficiency. For exotics... unlike Lost Sectors... there's not a lot of random world drops, which is important when you start to get near your postmaster limit. Anyone who stacks exotics would know near the end you're risking losing progress without going to orbit or back to the post to clear legendary & enhancement core engrams. I tested the exotic stacking method at the beginning of this episode, it's much easier to manage and so much quicker than Lost Sectors. Optional Stage 5: If I get all that done. I'm farming for 3 stat armor splits from Ghost and Failsafe... probably the best option in transition before I get the new armor I want. I want a Necrotic Syntho for Warlock, and Abyeant Horn on Titan. Probably get the catalyst for Navigator. That's my prep for EoF. 😇👍💠

  • I strongly suggest waiting for more info first. There are too many unexplained changes to know which way to go with your vault. Especially for your stage 5 plan. Armor tier is going to affect our power level. There is nothing in our current inventory that will be tier 4 or 5. Maybe not even 3. There is just no way to know. Also since the stats are changing we don't know they will be distributed. For weapons Bungie has said this: Fully Enhanced Adept weapons earned during Rite of the Nine will be somewhat comparable to Tier 3 weapons launching with our new gear tiering system in The Edge of Fate. Our goal is for Rite of the Nine weapons to give you an edge deep into the new Season. Even this is vague. It doesn't even say it is going to be tier 3. It just says it is comparable. What about crafted weapons? Or adepts from other sources? Is tier 3 even any good? How far away is 3 from 1 or 5?
