Ascension not activating class ability mods (Powerfull Atraction + Reaper)
The aspect Ascension from either prismatic or arc hunter does not activate class ability mods on the armor, such as Powerfull Atraction and Reaper. This was stated as a bug not so long ago, but it was removed from known issues. Although it doesn't seem to be right since Ensnaring Slam does activate such mods, so it just seems inconsistent. Pretty sure this is still a bug.

It released, it broke the game by being able to infinitely activate class ability stuff with basically 0 cooldown, bungie removed this, it become pretty much useless, bungie decided to go half on it, it's now good but it's kinda weird due to the inconsistency.

Hey there, it is a deliberate inconsistency unfortunately. Ascension uses class energy, but is not a class ability. Anything it does work with, is an intended exception, and anything it does not work with, is also intentional.
