In EU the networking conditions for PvP in D2 has mostly been poor. However as of this week it is straight down terrible.
Played 30 Crucible matches so far and the stats are
1. 7 out of 10 times I die from Headshot
2. Get constant shot behind walls and cover.
3. Dies of melee before the player is visible
and so on.. --- All of this are typical lag/jitter issues.
There is no way to actual monitor lag/jitterin D2. Some say use resources monitor, but that only monitors the connection between your PC and the servers in the US (which has always a lag between 173 ms and 250 ms). D2 uses a P2P connection setup so the only thing that matters is the lag between your PC and the other playing the same match as you.
1. SO either the player base are piss poor and the matchmaking system are setting one up against players with poor network conditions
2. OR Bungie has done some changes to the matchmaking system with this as an not intended outcome.
I played a private match with other players in the same country as me, and none of the issues above occurred.
Is D2 single player PvP matchmaking broken??
Bungie needs to give us the opportunity to not match with other players whom has a terrible lag to you. I do not want to play games with players with 100+ ms lag 1

Before Bungie resorted to using Steam SDR, you could actually see the ping value (and the actual origin of their IPs) to other players using something like Network Monitor, but now it's obviously impossible...
