Shiny Weapons
I know this post will go into the void cause I highly doubt Bungie reads any of this. If you get a rare -blam!- shiny weapon to drop it should always be adept. Double RNG on something already extremely rare makes no sense imo.

Idk why they made another weapon list of weapons with 4 individual iterations again. Just make 2-3 a normal and adept shiny that's it all it did was unnecessary inflated the loot pool more.

5 RepliesWhy do so many call masterwork weapons shiny weapons? Shiny weapons were the shiny special shader weapons from into the light last year. No big deal, just wondering if people are parroting streamers, it started just a few months ago.

You should go look at the shiny I got to drop from the chest. Heal clip w/ incandescent, as well as range finder w/ target lock in case I want to use in PvP. Absolutely juiced stats, I think!

to be fair shinies are a complete cosmetic novelty that basically just show that you grinded the event a lot

3 RepliesWelcome to the preview of the new tiered weapon system which is coming next expansion. This is going to be the new standard... 5 tiers of weapons, base, shiny, adept, adept shiny, then whatever tier 5 is. Its going to be so much fun, grind till you cant grind anymore. Weapon chase is what players want, and now they will have it. Maybe tier 5 is craftable? With a new system to unlock... I personally think that this just makes it much more confusing and irritating to deal with. When you finally get your shiny adept, and it has a bad roll, it totally feels worth it!

6 RepliesIt’s going to be a real L if there’s no way to get them except for ultimatum by the end of the event. I’d love to see the metrics on ultimatum completions for spire and ghosts. Because I’m willing to bet they’re very low. Tying them to pantheon level difficulty is stupid. I know you can supposedly pull holofoil adepts from the chest, but I’ve yet to see one. Into the Light at least rewarded you with a max rarity roll for the quest— even if it maybe wasn’t the roll you’d want. Not having at least that is sour grapes.
