Warlock stuck at level 3

I've been playing as a Warlock for months. I enjoy getting around, seeing new things, and have even gotten a decent weapon. But, I'm seemingly stuck at level 3. I'm at season 26 and I believe a 30 rank there (but I might not be using he right terms....) I've attempted the cayde 6 mission a number of times, always get through it. I've been throught the timeline history several times. What does it take to get further along as a warlock---it isn't obvious. Also, I've searched the forums for things like being a warlock and stuck at level 3 but nothing came up. Thank you. -Joe

  • OP: looked at your rank status and it appears you require Guardian Commendations - received from other players when doing team based activities, eg, crucible matches / gambit games / strikes. You can also award the same to fellow players. Some players don’t bother with doing this…and if no one is giving, often - everyone else follows suit so nobody bothers. At your GR 3 - I wonder if this might be an unfulfilled requirement to advance your GR to 4? It also states you need to visit the Pale Heart zone…if memory serves, this would require ownership of the appropriate update, eg, The Final Shape (TFS). It ain’t that one, i don’t think, but it’s going to be one of them, eg, The Witch Queen (TWQ). The Pale Heart zone is a big and complex place, full of advanced and difficult missions. It’s also quite glitchy, too. Though I can’t see how a relative New Light could be expected to navigate that area at such an early stage?! 🤔 Also, noticed you are basically the only active member in your small clan. Would strongly suggest you switch to a more active clan that provides help to NLs in particular. Or, join a preferred Discord server of your favourite source of game info and vid tutorials…it’s the best way to get help, and there are some great ones out there. YouTube is a rich source of vid content and searchable game information. Watch a few vids by different Content Creators (CCs) and you’ll soon find a few that gel with you…then explore their catalogue and/or join their discord group, if desired. Time zones are another thing to consider…seeking help from other likeminded players or more helpful senior players is also another good route to advance your cause. There’s lots of great players out there that will help…so, chin up! 👻 That is all. Carry On. Ease Springs! 🫡
