After everything that has happened, everything you've done, how well do you expect Marathon to do? We trusted you in Destiny. At first, it was fun. But now, it's in a disgraceful state.
We gave you our time and money and you might as well have spit in our faces.
Permanently taking away content we paid for. Making more than half of our gear worthless saying that it is how it will be from then on just to say "Nevermind! Keep it!" years AFTER we erased them, as YOU TOLD US TO mind you. There have been issues that you have and to this day continue to blatantly ignore, even going so far as to joke about them without fixing them.
Be honest, how well do you expect Marathon to do after disrespecting almost your entire playerbase?
Before starting a new game, fix the one you've already got. Put in the work, EARN our trust back. Listen to more people than just those streamers who kiss the ground you walk on.
You want people to play Marathon? Prove your worth.

D2 pvp =💩 show | solo vs fireteams 👎👎 - 6/1/2025 6:33:44 PM
With (I believe official) Sony cancelling the marketing of Marathon I think its very much in the realm of possibility that the only foreseeable & sizeable revenue can come from Destiny. Sure they can still try to launch Marathon on time.. so they can officially shutter it (might be some legal thing that forces them to do that)... they can delay for a long time (like a year) and change the game completely.... ...or I think its possible (except the technology might not be far enough ahead of D2)... to begin taking those assets and converting it ~1-3year to a D3 or other Destiny successor. At the same time you remove the name Bungie/and those higher up/executive/cultural issue folks. The Business case is just simply... we have established fans & community in this space... it would be idiotic to just let them go... so I think while all this stuff going on is bad for The Bungie name... I think its really possible we see new investment in d2 and whatever its successor is... (new stuff is way riskier)
