Should Ergo Sum be able to be crafted?

I honestly believe that Ergo Sum should be able to be crafted, it would save us a lot of space in the Vault.

  • 💯 it should be. Bungie gave us the Godsend that was crafting but all these weak -blam!- poser keyboard warriors who barely even play, not to mention worthless streamers killed it, because they would rather do an activity 1000x times before getting a 5 out of 5 God roll vs getting 5 red boarders. Anyone who dislikes crafting has an addiction problem.

    • 100% i still have not gotten a wave frame riskrunner roll yet, though they probably wont so it keeps people playing excision and overthrow

      • Majority of my vault space is going towards housing these wonderful swords. Each one offers a unique value when build crafting. Would keeping only 1 and being able to re-craft it numerous times make my life easier? Sure, but that’s not what Bungie wants.

      • No. Hot take, but crafting should go. The enhancing that we have is fine, but crafting ruined any sort of fun with hunting a good roll in a "looter-shooter".

        • Got around 20 of them in the vault. Can’t decide what’s worth keeping or deleting so they’re all there. Never know what’s going to be good in the future. Crafting would be an increase to quality of life in this respect.

        • honestly, all exotic weapons that have different traits as obtainable should be imho, otherwise it just adds to vault problems, granted, I do think they need to change how crafting works like make it so that in order to be able to craft a trait onto a weapon, you have to first get the trait on a non-crafted weapon version and dismantle it and it will only work if its of the same exact type of weapon like say wolf-pack rounds on the ergo sum you must get an ergo sum with it.

Also a good way for them to be able to add additional perks. There were a few perks for it in the database like Witherhoard’s that never got released.

                Yes, for players who've earned every god roll, and no longer need to grind for them, crafting should be an option to save space.

              • I want the catalyst but I can't get a team together...I hate that all new exotics are only half a gun without the catalyst...the catalyst were introduced to fix or to expand the function of the weapon not be the better functioning half of it or a basic function that it should start with ...

                • 100% yes. It took me almost 20 swords to get a arc conductor roll, but then the rest of the sword doesn’t have what I want.

                  • bungie don't care if your vault is full. crafting kept vault space down . now running 3 characters the vault is laughable . trying to keep your gun rolls just clogs up the vault . and another dumb thing bungie needs to fix is when you go gilded you can't pick any other gm but weekly. that is up there with removing crafting . clearly they lost more then employees . some running the show lost some brain cells.

                      No.. you'll just have multiple version like you have already. Crafting is not the answer.. It's a Looter Shooter.. grinding is part of the game, not being handed what you want like a 5yr old at a birthday party.

                    • Craft-able no, focusable perk option? Yes. As it is it’s a 1 in 1500 to get the perfect desired roll from blade, guard, perk, and frame when also factoring in void, arc, and solar. Focusing the perk you want would alleviate some of that headache of running Paleheart until your nipples bleed. I also wouldn’t be against Xur selling random rolls once in a while.

                      • For Ergo, I would honestly say no as there isn't too much in it being warrented for crafting. Maybe it could be as like you unlock the parts from getting different variations, but the problem is that its element is also random so it would be a bit iffy. That being said however, I would at least say yes in the sense that getting every single variation, much like exotic class items, is quite a pain and just being able to craft it would be helpful. As well, I find it funny quite a few people out there say crafting ruined the game, but fun fact, Ergo Sum was inspired by the Craftening. You know, the glitch with crafting that let us put traits of one weapon onto another. If we didn't have that, Ergo would most likely be one of the most bland weapons out there.
