Ok. Bungie (via DMG04) admitted there's a cheating crisis. Now what ?

Now what? Same as EVERY other time. Bungie = “We are taking said action”. Reality = not a DAMN thing will happen.

There are some other issues though: * The netcode is garbage * The lack of dedicated servers * The population is making the mentioned even worse * The maps really arent helping. They're way too cluttered and make the other shortcomings stand out way more. The maps are also, assuming everything els was fine, really bad from a gameplay perspective.

Now they can keep ignoring it thats all. The game defo dont have a proper anti cheat. As an example...if somebody spaws in trials with heavy ammo outside of round 3. They should get kicked, then banned if done a couple times (to prevent having innocents being banned because a cheater dropped a heavy brick you picked )

Sorry our management as a whole pissed away all the resources made from over charging and milk milk milking all of you instead of using that revenue to pay a team to rewrite the code and implement dedicated servers so we could properly address the cheating plague that is destroying our game is what should have been said.

Idk what’s up… I just played some supremacy with my buddy on PC (I’m on Xbox) and whatever was going on… that was the worst set of connections I’ve seen in a LONG time. Whenever I play against Pc I feel like I play better but there is a ton of people just rubber banding everywhere and not taking damage. I had a dude die to my sidearm a full 5 seconds after I died to something else.

That “we’re sorry” is like a person who abuses his/her partner and keeps saying “I’m sorry” I’ll be different from now on. Bungie is BS. So many cheaters. They have a duty to protect us from ALL cheating. We are the customer!!!
