So I've been farming the new weapons for rite of the nine the whole week now and I noticed that certain perk combinations are dropping far far far more frequently than others, just like a couple months ago where the random perk generation was broken before. Many players already speculated that the perk distribution only got fixed for certain weapons. I'm curious if the random generation AI is broken again because it's literally impossible for my RNG to be this bad.

Weight Gate NEVER left. They didn’t “fix” anything. This IS by design. There is NO such thing as”RNG” in programming. It is in FACT an algorithm that was programmed. So, the weight gate is by design and they are NOT going to change it.

Probably a little unrelated but is it actually worth grinding out these weapons for God Rolls? I haven't been keeping totally up to date with things but won't there be some sort of tier system or zones where these weapons won't matter as much? I would appreciate any advice on this as I haven't caught up properly.

You have an extra small sample and are looking at it with a bias. Weightgate was found by looking at large pools of volunteered data. Data collected after the fix was put through showed no signs of any more weighting. Those that try to claim weighting is still there always forget to address how the previous weighting often was in the players favor.

RNG is a brutal thing sometimes. Literally got my ideal Wilderflight on my first drop, and I just got nearly 100 No Survivors before I got the roll I wanted. It is what it is.
