This game is still awesome
Thank you very much for explorer mode dungeons. Never played Spire or Ghosts and now I have cleared them solo! I know it is baby-mode haha but it still feels fantastic to get a chance to play this content. Cannot wait for what's next 👍 at least now I can LFG for the dungeons!

This has got to be a Bungie employee trying to raise morale during all this uncertainty and controversy. The game was very solid up to TWQ. Currently I’m waiting to see what happens to the decision makers at Bungie after Marathon in hopes that this franchise can be turned around. I love the talented worker bees at this studio. But the bean counters and suits have turned D2 into a meme of it’s former self that most veteran players mock. I’m hopeful that PlayStation will bring this thing out of the dumpster fire.

I did not know that! I never want to buy the dungeons key because I don't think I can play it. Barely survive in normal campaign ..LOL But I finished it, with a lot of deaths. I will try this explorer, If I can solo it, I may buy the keys. I don't like the game that has timer and equipment lock. What is the point to rush the player and restrain to change gear while we have millions guns?? Good company motto is, "We make product that customer like". Bungie should motto should be "We make game that customers like to play" not "We make game that we like to play". I will never buy any product that I can't use. Never buy game that I can't play or not fun to play. Playing video game is for entertainment not work or job or a bragging tool.

I finally tried spire of the watcher in explore mode an I can honestly say this will help a lot. Run it a couple of times to understand it properly. You’ll have fun in no time. Then run it on higher difficulty, to get better results an a faster completion. If you’re a speed runner. Other than that it was great addition to the game. -
1 ReplyEdited by ben: 5/29/2025 2:37:23 PMthe game is legitimately in a pretty good state right now people are just fatigued from the past few seasons and the state of things with marathon and the uncertain future of destiny. these attitudes are reasonable but if you just look at the game itself, we have far surpassed d1 age of triumph highs in terms of stuff to get on and do. the feeling of being on a hamster wheel and being burnt out of the grind is totally reasonable; i quit the game completely for 2 years and then made a fresh account in march to get back into it to make the game feel enjoyable again. ive been GRINDING for 2 months and it feels as good as new.

3 RepliesExplorer mode is really fun, as a PvP player that dosent touch PvE much, it’s a good way to introduce more people into dungeons. Wish that Ghost of the deep had better guides in game, cause I was lost like 99% of the dungeon lol

Although I’m already familiar with the dungeons, I’ve enjoyed explorer mode immensely. I’m so happy that more players are able to experience these beautiful and interesting environments!😁

I'm having more fun in Skyward Sword right now. And that's saying a lot coming from what many consider to be one of the weaker Zelda games.

I agree it’s a great mode. And tbh the regular dungeon difficulty (eternity) is not really more difficult, they just remove the clues but it’s still very chill compared to a GM or Ultimate mode.
