Prismatic aspect nerfs usefulness vs strength/power?
I want to start off by saying I believe Prismatic as a whole will still be plenty good even after the nerfs outlined in the recent D2 team tweet. I also agree that just boosting the strength/power of other aspects probably isn’t the answer. My question is, is there a difference between usefulness and strength/power? I agree that all those aspects are strong (damage wise) but I think they’re also the most useful (healing, survivability, clearing potential, etc.) as well. So while boosting the strength/power of all other aspects probably isn’t the answer are there ways for y’all at Bungie to buff their usefulness to make them more competitive/fun picks?
For example, knockout/consecration Titan is really good, it’s really fun, but I don’t feel it’s necessary in order to succeed and I don’t feel forced to use it in order to succeed. In fact, I’ve barely used it throughout all over Heresy because you introduced new aspects that were both strong and/or useful. It’ll be interesting to see how those aspects are once they’re not being beefed up by the artifact but they made for a fun, useful, different, and powerful play style that rivaled a knockout/consecration Titan build. Which brings me back to the question, are there ways you could change/alter other fragments to make them more competitive/fun picks instead of feeling forced to nerf these fragments?
Edited to add that if there isn’t a way to make the aspects themselves more useful perhaps you could give them a bump in strength/power and usefulness through the artifact like you did this episode for bolt charge, void, and strand stuff.
