Edge of Fate (horrible change incoming) NERFS

Bungie you seriously need to rethink this, this is an awful change to some aspects. Lowering the amount of fragments we can have is a terrible change for these aspects. https://www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/destiny-2-edge-of-fate-interview/ Bungie actually listened and is changing what they’re doing but not completely. In what world does stylish executioner and feed the void need a nerf it’s literally mind boggling. Hunters need serious PvE buffs you’re literally handicapping your team using one. Reducing fragments has no effect on the aspect it will perform just as well they should scrap these changes all together. https://x.com/destiny2team/status/1930298425074913344?s=46&t=qbC_rM-qTNasiNryYD7r_A

  • With how they are basically rebuilding our armor system, and weapon tiers... I feel like its basically sunsetting again, where we are expected to grind it all again. As a player who started in Vanilla D1, I am puzzled why they didnt just end D2 and start again with D3. Leaving D2 as it is, with a final balance patch... and just build from the ground up around a new saga with the new armor system in place. I feel that this game is already so buggy and has band-aid patches on top of band-aid patches, which never truly resolved the issues. A few months ago, I would have never really thought about wanting D3 become a reality, but now that D2 is being completely revamped, and we will never be able to play the older content the way that we can get on D1 and play that content kind of locked in time... It makes me feel that I need to make a decision, whether to basically start over and grind my gear again in D2, or just hang it up and stop gaming. Im at a point where I dont want to pick up another game, but I also dont want high grind just to climb back and get to the point that I am currently. This is basically a sunset without calling it a sunset. I havent purchased the expansion. I want to see where my old gear will land me in the scheme of things, and see if it is truly a sunset, or if my high stat armor means anything in the new system. I spent more time getting the armor that I have than getting the weapons that I have, so to me, that holds more value. The fragment nerfs are kind of icing on the cake, its not a primary concern of mine, but it compounds the feeling that I have of them just trying to knock us down a few pegs, while the game has already been ramped up to meet our current power.
