The Elephant In The Room: Difficulty
The game is becoming more difficult year after year and I think Bungie is losing players because of it. We don't hear from them, because they are gone, they just leave.
I think things have steered to much towards movement, making it so that players must zip around everywhere to survive. Which is a little harder to do on controller(console) than mouse and keyboard.
......
I just deleted my other thoughts on this because I don't feel like listening to elitist comments. I was merely expressing my opinion that this game is leaning towards being too sweaty for casual gaming. I think a lot of us don't really care about raids, dungeons, and exotic missions. They are not worth the time and effort.

1 ReplyI don't know about more difficult but the way they clutter everything with non-shooting mechanics is boring to me - especially since we always have to repeat the same thing three or so times per encounter. And on top of that, they expect us to do it every week. It's always crap like: * Enter room * Look for runes while shooting enemies * Go here to find matching rune * Run back to stand on plate while shooting enemies * Find X thing to get rune empowered * Kill enemies to find power spheres * Dunk power spheres into the secret rune well of Narnia * Take down the boss's shield with a matching element...but wait...there's more * Kill the 42 adds that spawned to protect the boss to empower your immunity debuff *Break the boss's immunity * Now, solve this chess puzzle! * Traverse to the top of the boss room * Yeet yourself onto the boss to do damage * Repeat17 times
