Just wanna know what the point is in downvoting clan posts, are you that petty? The game is dying, quite frankly now should be the time for all clans to try and build strong communities, not be competing against each other for members. Icl the ppl who do this are prob the ppl who see players as simply another number for their clan

I have even seen posts in the Help section getting down voted. Just consider being a new player that runs into a problem and asks for help and sees their question or issue getting floored to zero. Bungie should just remove the down vote button from the entire forum. Things that are popular are going to get rise up regardless, and unpopular posts will stay low. With no down vote button, there won't be room for bad actors to cause these issues.

You can’t cherry-pick which kinds of toxicity to call out while ignoring the fact that your own community frequently violates the same TOS rules you claim to care about. I’ve seen your group post multiple clan threads a day, bump outdated posts, and bump friends clans to the top clear violations of the current TOS. You don’t get to demand rule enforcement when it benefits you and expect leniency when it doesn’t. That’s not holding people accountable for toxicity, it’s hypocrisy. And let’s not pretend the problem ends there. I’ve watched adjacent “community leaders” turn a blind eye to toxicity from their own little circle while doing nothing but preaching about how everyone else should behave since showing up on these forums. It’s performative, and it reeks of double standards. If you really want to combat toxicity on these forums, start by setting the example instead of just pointing fingers.

Been Battling with this for years. Some of us had some luck talking with the Mods a few times to get some clans/people banned form the forums. But that was when it was getting REALLY bad. Most times they are unresponsive regarding the problem. We (A few of us communities are in a discord that talk about the problem frequently) have a few ideas of who the current perpetrators are. But unlike them I am not petty enough to call them out publically. Anyway I know this doesn't help, but figured I would comment.

Because the best way to avoid it, is to ignore it The way I see it is. Is any clan downvoting be obsessed with trying to make your clans posting look bad. They are fans of the clans they downvote Why you may ask? Because they’re jealous of what they can’t have in their postings. Which it’s an easy fix. Simply paying attention to what people look for is a start. Then making sure they fit in and feel comfortable

According to the pinned bungie message, clans/person, would face some sort of punishment for doing so. I've noticed too, mainly 1 clan in particular, are still bumping their posts 2 or 3 times a day. Said message states these posts would then be removed. Not happening. 🤷♂️
