LIVE RE-REVEAL? SO THE GRIND IS THE CONTENT?
The LIVE Re-Reveal today was a repeat stream? So old Savathun Spire is part of the Content we have to look forward to?
Everything except the Heavy Bow was already known for a while.
Is EoF just a new way to introduce grinding for RNG Perk Gated Weapons and Armor that we will not basically be able to get until Renegades?

1 ReplyHere's the kicker that they didn't say on stream: All of the QoL changes are absolutely FREE! You don't have to buy EoF to experience the new armor system. They also left out that tier 5 gear doesn't come out until months after launch and you have to be level 400+ in order to unlock the activities for it. According to the creators they flew out to play early it'll be extremely grindy to hit 400+ and only the 0.1% will ever get to touch tier 5 gear.

To be honest I don’t think they have anything to show. What the CC’s showed us is everything already and they are just regurgitating it. It appears what we are getting is a bunch of old content to grind for gear that not only is time gated but will be made obsolete come the following season. Deep site 2.0., Blanket nerfs across the board and them literally telling us hey if you play with these weapons we hand picked you’ll get a damage increase. I’m afraid this path they chose isn’t gonna move the needle but only scratch the record.

I gave up watching fairly early as they were going over all the nerfs yet again I take it that it didn't get much better. I suspected this wasn't worth buying so I will not buy in for a while to see how much fun I am missing

4 RepliesBungie is doing what they should have done 10 years ago. Building in a mechanism that discourages players from holding onto weapons forever, and keeps new loot relevant. The fact that it currently isn’t relevant is why the game is struggling. Nothing in the game is better than what I already have in my vault.
