It’s outrageous. And one of the top reasons people don’t play is cause how much you charge for legit nothing…. For 2 hours of content… this game could be so much more if it is placed in the right hands

Recommend. Any legend of zelda game. The grind is better and never gets nerfed. Lol

Edited by WinterSolstice: 6/26/2025 6:01:42 PMIn Canadian it's around 220 for all dlc including edge of fate. Not looking at the current sale. For a Switch 2 in Canadian it's around 640 for JUST the Switch 2. Slightly off topic but Steam deck is almost half the price and while the Switch 2 is stronger in dock mode, it for some reason is similar to the Steam Deck in handheld mode.

They go on sale so frequently that if you end up paying the max price it's a choice.

Destiny 2 content is regularly sold at reduced price during special sales events throughout the year; this past spring saw nearly every expansion for the game available on each platform for between 30 and 70% off the standard price. Anybody who knows someone that may be interested in playing but balks at the standard price for buying every expansion in bulk would do well to keep an eye out for these sales. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

The heck are you on about ? No way, bro! - old
I’m not defending Destiny 2 pricing structure or commenting on the value of it but I think your comparison with Switch 2 is flawed, at least based on UK pricing. Where I am a Switch 2 is £396 or £430 with Mario Kart World bundled. On both PlayStation and XB: All that is needed for existing content (does not inc LF and WQ dungeon keys) is The Light and Darkness Collection at £18.74 (sale is on until 14th July.) This includes: • The Final Shape Expansion + Annual Pass Upgrade • Lightfall Standard Edition* • The Witch Queen Standard Edition* • 30th Anniversary Pack • Beyond Light Pack** • Shadowkeep Pack** • Forsaken Pack * - Dungeon Keys for Lightfall and The Witch Queen are sold separately. ** - The Beyond Light and Shadowkeep campaigns are open to all players in Destiny 2 and are not included in this pack. All that’s needed on top of that collection is the upcoming expansion. Edge of Fate at £34.99 or for the next 12 mths the Year of Prophecy at £69.99 or YoP Ultimate at £84.99 If going for the collection above plus Edge of Fate it’s about £54. For the collection plusYear of Prophecy ultimate then it’s a total of about £104. The in game purchase of WQ and LF dungeon keys would be an extra on top. Ignoring sale prices, at full price it would be around £210 for the collection and YoP ultimate, again with the WQ and LF dungeon keys on top of that. -
So buy a Switch 2? lol

People could also go to a day spa with a friend or buy a bottle of The Glenrothes Soleo 25-year-old single malt for the same amount; what's your point?
-
Yeah it’s insane how expensive it is. But also Nintendo are scum so nobody should support them
-
So, are you saying you're going to Switch?
-
Yeah I've seen people saying they can't afford to upgrade & playing on Xbox one & spending £200 on destiny dlcs, when series S is only £120 on eBay & is x100 better than the one. This doesn't include them buying cod £80 borderlands £80, elden ring £80 etc etc

Yeah, 2 minutes.
