Yup guys they absolutely cooked with this one. Especially when you consider the location & puzzles were already built by Luke Smith a few years ago (yes this expansion area was project payback, the apparent D2 sequel for destiny's elite after destiny 2 ended.
You need to open your eyes & realise you're being mugged off
*Edited a few numbers were wrong so I fact checked several sources.

Rise of iron is so underrated
-
I spoke with my wallet. I canceled the pre-order, uninstalled. There's way too many games coming out to worry about bubgies b.s.

The better comparison is somewhere between curse of Osiris and warmind

That's what happened when Bungie started obsessing about OVER DELIVERING
-
Edited by ValorDLX: 6/26/2025 11:19:52 PMWouldn't it be wild if Luke Smith titled it "project payback" to get back in a 4d chess sorta way at Bungie for how the higher ups were treating it? Like purposefully setting the trap for the execs to inherit and drive the game into desolation? Doubt all that happened. Just would be like the ultimate planting a seed of destruction retaliation move.

so they lied. amazing

Dont worry the fan boys and paul tassi will defend the expansion no matter what.

Edited by Olórin: 6/27/2025 2:28:37 PMHold up... How does an expansion not include at least 1 new strike or PvP map? I got a bad feeling about this one. Edit: OH you're numbers are off... Still have a bad feeling regardless so I'll wait until its been released to judge for myself.

Feel free to leave and never play again. This is just another obsessed anti fan

The heck are you on about ? No way, bro! - old
Preview of the new raid here -
Your count is hilariously off. 33 confirmed legendary weapons. Multiple confirmed unannounced exotics. Etc
-
On top of the mistakes others here have mentioned: - we know there is at least 1 additional exotic we haven’t seen yet. - There’s likely around 40-50 weapons. - We have no idea what patrols, lost sectors, public events, or other activities are on the location. - There’s likely going to be 1 new strike And on top of that, the vast majority of RoI’s weapons were reskins - even the raid weapons were just Manufacturer weapons painted black with a Siva crystal or two taped on.

You for got the iron lords artifacts that gave you some neat ability

Yes Bungie lie, but you're lying too.

Rise of Iron had ONE new strike. Reprised strikes where they just threw some SIVA enemies in isn't that great of a value proposition when we have gotten strike reworks that actually change the mechanics and flow of an entire strike in D2. PvP maps I agree with that Rise of Iron, though it came with 2 not 3. Rise of Iron had 7 new exotic weapons not 11, this is stuff you can easily look up. From what I can see also only 7 new exotic armors with roughly 2 per class with one having 3. I could keep picking apart this entire whining complaint post but I honestly can't be bothered, since your post is just a bunch of BS that can easily be refuted.
