I've not watched much of the livestreams about EoF, but besides it being a non-linear campaign, do we know anything else? We're only a few weeks away from release and not having heard anything about the campaign is worrying.
I'm a bit concerned that with the yearly expansion being split in two, any campaign will be timegated, too. I don't raid due to time commitment, and if the campaign is a short bunch of fetch quests, I'll just be over-paying for a battle pass and recycled content.
I might be way off, so anyone who can point me in the direction of something that's not rumors would be great.

I stopped bying expansions a while ago (Forsaken), and play the game when Uncle Sony gives me a free license to play the campaign, but a day 1 D1/D2 player stuck out Curse and Warmind very lack luster DLCs i would see the Metroid-vania type levels translated into D2 as code for a campaign lacking content, with esoteric puzzles, and gaining "skills" to open the next area, after having ground out the area until you feel like you eyes are bleeding. Rather than just focusing on solid game play and story content. Based on TFS i would see the balance remain around having a fire team to have the "skills" to unlock fom of the later areas, and a marked increase in menu gameplay, and not solid core gameplay, mashing hoards of enemies, feeling like a bad--blam!- doing it. There doesn't seem to be a lot of hype in the player base for this content. The dev stream was horrible. Even the devs didn't seem enthused. It was stuff they had already shown to streamers and journalists, that had made way better videos that what the dev stream was. there was no new information, and a definate malaise, or player fatigue when I was in a good few streams watching it, and the YT videos. This feels more like a cash grab to get them through to the Renegades drop (which is a cash grab IMHO) I just don't know how much of the play base will stick arround that long. "All this has happened before, it will happen again" to quote Battlestar Galactica intro. beyond light and witch queen changed thing up, but lightfall was a massive mis-step. IMHO I'd wait until either they show something that gets the hype juices flowing, or wait it out for a price reduction
