I've been wanting this for ages now, just minus the extra restrictions as I believe so long as animations don't conflict with each other it should be fine. But the closest anyone has been able to give to a valid reason against it is "it would destroy pvp by fooling players into thinking it's a different gun", which I can easily prove false. How? Simple: * Transmog doesn't also mean altering gun sounds. * Even if the weapon somehow does fool you, it's only working for 1 kill if you read what they killed you with. * Not accounting for any extra delays with any connection related issues and average human reaction times, there's ZERO chance of you accurately identifying through anything but sound if you're that knowledgeable about the game/ aware as to whether you're being shot with Eyasluna or Judgment, Better Devils, Rose, Kindled Orchid, Palindrome, or Exalted Truth, and chances are if they would've killed you with one, they would've killed you with the other in the 0.87 seconds you have to find them, escape, or kill first. So really, the closest to a valid reason anyone could give against weapon transmogs is some weapons simply have models that cover less of the screen or have better sights, which should be an indicator to Bungie to not make such weapons. What is the harm in making my Sightline Survey look like Not Forgotten because that will offer ZERO advantage to either of us. How about making my Blast Furnace look like New Purpose? ZERO advantage. Making my Breakneck look like Lethal Abundance? ZERO advantage. But making my Zaoulis Bane look like Spare Rations (I'm pretty sure they use the same animations)? When am I going to use it in pvp anyway when I can just pull out Spare Rations or even Austringer for significantly better results?
