Only new stuff will be dealing extra damage with exotics on a damn rotation? What the actual hell did we just spend weeks farming for new weapons for only for them to be rendered inferior in a few weeks time? And all the stuff we have gathered over the time we have invested? Once again, completely disregarded with the utmost of contempt for player time and investment. Thank god I didn’t pre order this time. Looks like my plan to take a break and come back to a better destiny isn’t happening so no thanks, I’ll keep my money thank you.

Edited by GioC3ntr1c: 6/27/2025 5:50:19 AMIdk what’s crazier, Bungo repeating one of Destiny’s biggest fumbles, or the Stockholm’d fans saying the same spoonful of poop is good now because Bungie made an airplane sound feeding us this time. This company is getting absorbed.

If by "sneaking in through the back door" you mean telling everyone well ahead of time in detail, yes. Absolutely lmao.
-
And exotics won’t be updated for another YEAR… Bold of them to assume their studio will still be around by then.
-
They were obvious about it from the start. People just didn't want to admit that Bungie was doing it again. Getting even worse with them hand picking exotics to also be on a seasonal rotation.
-
Bungie has been dishonest and dirty for a long time. They'll never learn. Even if things finish burning to the ground and they're standing in the ashes holding a used book of matches they'll open their mouths and start telling you that they did their best.

Doing what now?

We already have weapon surges in activities that can be ignored. Exotics are already on a rotation but based off artifact perks like queensbreaker right now. These changes MIGHT allow more versatility than just buffing one weapon archetype per season. Reasons to change up the exotic armor once in a while will be nice too. I’m figuring the armor set bonuses are just going to be extras to incentivize using new armor but not a game breaker if you’d rather use a different set with better perks for your build. If a piece drops that can just stamp out one you’re using, great. If not, delete. I’m still waiting until after it drops to determine whether or not I want to buy it. There’s other potential deal breakers for me, but I don’t think this sunsetting stuff is going to be as bad as people think.
Only new stuff will be dealing extra damage with exotics on a -blam!- rotation?
When vanilla D2 launched they had "locked loadouts" in the master raid lairs. Tried it once, noped right back to orbit.

Listen to this my brother just got this BS scapieee 6/27/2025 - 11:16 AM Temporary Forum Ban Violation of the "Disruption/Evasion" clause of the Code of Conduct. The offending post has been removed, and you are banned from the forums until 7/27/2025 8:16 AM. "Fools ban for private matches Imfao. This company" Code of Conduct Im so glad i kicked this horrible company to the curb 6 months ago!!!!! I told him Bungie was nothing more than a Shady milk machine but he didn't listen.
-
how many times has that small damage buff not being there prevented you from clearing said activity?
-
I'm not sure why this is getting so much grief?? The new gear will have bonuses, cool! The old gear will stay as is, fine! If the bonuses didn't exist it wouldn't make your old gear better.
-
Sneaking? They've been telling us straight for a while now.
-
not really a fun of that basic system, but it looks like is a modifier for low level content based on what they writed on the twid

I told y’all

Extra DR is a big deal, weapons damage I don’t think so. I do GM all the time and I see very little difference whether I used weapons currently buffed or not. The build synergy is way more important.

Ohhhh nooooo a minor seasonal buff :( Now what're you gonna do. It's all over :( :(
