Storm's keep is obviously ridiculously strong right now but it is only because of flashover and defibrillating blast, which will both be gone next season. The bolts will do a ton less damage and most importantly it wont be a mini well of radiance anymore because you wont heal nonstop.
So why bungie sandbox team in your infinite wisdom did you also feel the need to target nerf storms keep to only build charge off one barricade at a time?
Storm's keep was such a fun shakeup to the sandbox that gave people a reason to use a non-prismatic subclass which is super rare. We really are nerfing an aspect that is strong because of an artifact that is only going away in 2 weeks?
Hope I never hear anyone complain about how bad warlocks allegedly are again 😆 wtf is this decision
I know you guys watched all the SpecialHero and Suutek videos on twitter of them one phasing Persys and the Phalanx echo on ultimatum by stacking bolt charge barricades and started clutching your pearls and the knee jerk reaction was brainstorming a nerf, but it only worked because of the artifact lmao! It was already going to be horrible next season

It’s plenty strong without any artifact mods or x2/3 barricade stacking though?
-
They are absolutely clueless bro. They have 0 foresight and barely understand their own game. Look at their “buff” to on your mark which is actually a nerf.
-
It def dosent need to stack. It certainly won’t be going anywhere either. I’m sure it will still be everywhere.
-
Time to work on your reading comprehension bud. -Storm's Keep (Aspect) Benefits no longer stack when standing behind multiple Barricades. multiple barricades Storm keep didn't get a nerf. They simply prevented it from being stacked with multiple barricades, which is perfectly reasonable.

totally needed taht fix
-
Lol, yeah. I've used it without the artifact mod, and it's fine not broken. But nooowhere close to that artifact mod. Some of these nerfs are so ridiculous that I'm back to wondering if anyone there actually plays pve.
-
I just don't get them sometimes, they'll see something with low usage, give it some crazy artifact perks to push its usage numbers up for a season, then use those higher usage numbers as an excuse to nerf it so it's even worse than before once the artifact's gone. Same thing happened to Chaos Reach this season too.

This nerf was 100% predictable and yes, i do support it. The amount of bolts was just to much xD

Edited by xbroggiex: 6/27/2025 5:09:36 PMBecause stacking barricades ontop of one another would allow you to increase your damage output to insane amounts. I think there is a video of a guy solo one phasing the phalanx echo on ultimatium with just barricades and an area denial GL. So yeah anyone who didn't expect this coming is very naive.

Strikers catching strays. You hate to see it.
-
idk what this is but I agree!
-
cool so now you can use something different instead of 2+ arc titans inside raid and dungeons, better no? plus the old meta nade spam is back
-
Tune in next week for the latest round of nerfs. They always save the ones that piss us off the most for last
-
There's going to be other stuff that will be OPd. I still remember the season in which the Storm nade+ HoIL was brutally broken. My gut feeling tells me that solar will be borderline ridiculous when EoF drops.

Storms keep won’t be bad technically, but having an additional layer of support and team work during fights.

I have a note on my stash and i’m soon about to reveal it to make a final jab at Parsons cause i don’t even give a Glimmer.
