Hi everyone,I'm having trouble launching Destiny 2 through Steam on my PC. The game installs fine, but when I try to launch it, BattlEye shows this:
Installing BattlEye Service...
BattlEye Service has been successfully installed.
Updating...
Update failed (1, 28). Please check your internet connection and/or firewall.
Launching game...
Right after that, I get a Windows error:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
This issue started a few hours ago. Since I didn’t know how to fix it, I uninstalled and reinstalled Destiny 2, but the problem still persists.
Additional info:
I've already tried running both Steam and Destiny 2 as administrator.
I added folder exclusions to Windows Defender and Firewall.
My internet connection is stable.
I also manually reinstalled BattlEye.
Has anyone else run into this issue or found a fix? I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
