For the last year for warlocks it has just been nerf after nerf while simply the devs are just saying warlocks are fine. When most of us are not. Most warlock mains don’t want the class to be focused on “buddies” that do the work for us but rather mostly the grenades that several exotics and subclass aspects focus on. Three of the last four exotics in the last year have been “buddy” related. It feels as the devs only want warlocks to be the well and buddy class while taking away the original space magic fantasy that the class gave. It’s exhausting that warlock only gets nerfed along with massive buffs to other classes like the new melee buffs only apply to a single exotic for warlocks. The Reddit link I have is just more people having their opinions about this “buddy” class situation and want it to change. So many warlocks feel the frustration when they simply joke about warlocks while titans get their complaints into the game like at the of The Final Shape. There's no in between, that class won't be buffed because warlock is the least played class in the game and not devs favorite (cough titans) So just switch to Titan or hunter and move on. Unfortunately warlock class is done.

I wouldn't mind a strand version of Rime-Coat Raiment but wit will hit too close to home of warfame nidus ability Brood Mind - Infestation- hold and convert your Threadling grenade into a placement Threadling Hive that spawns Threadlings ever few seconds. *Threadling kills increase grenade Regen

Titans got Unbreakable for Sentinel, that leaned hard into the defender aspect. Hunters got Ascension, which if I'm being honest, is lackluster without gifted conviction, but even then competing with better aspects. Warlocks got....another buddy. And when they complained saying they don't want to just be the buddy class, the toxically positive players chimed in asking "why can't you just be happy with the new aspect" or "why do you always have to be so negative".

Only way to truly enjoy warlock is solo play ! If you do raids or dungeons you got to run well or support, that should be changed with how boss encounters work . That's why I run 3 classes so I can enjoy the fantasy of wrecking stuff

Grenades are going to be crazy in edge of fate. Up to a 50% bonus if you build into it. That’s just normal grenades too. Things like verity’s brow or contraverse hold are going to go nuts.

Edited by ben: 6/28/2025 2:28:21 PMSynthoceps devour slide melee currently one of the strongest builds in the game and is remaining unchanged in the sandbox overhaul, in fact will be getting better Speakers sight with healing grenades is a must have for contest level content and you can use it while still having the prismatic kit, or on solar for ember of benevolence to have constant uptime on the grenades Arc warlock a favourite for many people, remaining unchanged And you may not like the buddy builds but they are incredibly strong, I think the hellion is overkill but bleak watcher with devour and getaway artist is insane

On one hand I agree and in another I don’t. 1. Space magic: grenades aren’t really space magic. Maybe we use some kind of power to make them, (unsure of how they work lore wise in game), but all classes have access to the same ones so I don’t really count that as space magic. 2. The buddy system. For me, I see that as an actual way to give Warlocks more of a a class identity. The other two classes don’t have buddies built into their kits. 3.Also, the buddies are an extension of the Warlocks space magic. Charge up some kind of energy and release it into an energy-buddy that can help you in battle. 4. I do agree with you, that they should have more than just buddies. I just don’t know what that would be, that would also keep it different from Hunter and Titans.

I mean getaway artist is good but imo it is overshadowed by lightning surge which is very fun and unique and is a melee build.
