If someone could let me know how to refund this I'd really appreciate it.
I preordered EoF when the initial announcement was made, it looked really cool and I was hyped.. but seeing all the changes they're making along with it I wish I knew how to refund it. Some of the reasons I feel this way are the following:
1) Reducing fragment slots on prismatic across all classes: The issues are not the slots they give!!! The issues are the aspects themselves!! Nerfing the slots does NOT solve the issue, nerf them the way you nerfed threaded specter (Less aim-pulling, threadlings not spawning when destroyed by bullets, class ability cooldown penalty, THAT'S how you nerf stuff). Bleak watcher is gonna be bleak watcher no matter how many fragments it gives, you just end up neutering build-crafting. What you could do also instead of nerfing the aspects you could also nerf trascendence, which is the enambler of most if not all the issues with prismatic (consecration as an example) you could reduce it's duration, reduce the increased regeneration rate of abilities, THAT would be solving the issue that you're looking at.
2) Nerfing STASIS out of all things: We all really know that this was because of the chill clip special ammo weapons, but WHY on earth does an ENTIRE SUBCLASS has to suffer because of this??? NERF chill clip, reduce the amount of slow stacks that each shot applies or reduce the percentage of the shots that slow from 50% to 25%!!!!!!!! And if you're gonna nerf something be honest about it, you're not nerfing stasis because "overload are hard to stun" additionally, making shatter stun overloads makes no sense!!! If they're being shattered it's guaranteed that they've already been stunned.
3) The hunter dodge: Once again, the devs are like "well, now you don't have to dodge near an enemy!!!", if I'm dodging something it's VERY likely that I'm near an enemy, in what situations do the devs think peoplel dodge???? to get out of cover when they're at the opposite side of the room???? NO it's near ENEMIES!!! And while I do agree the getting a melee back is broken THERE ARE BETTER WAYS THAN TO FORCE AN ENTIRE CLASS TO BUILD A STAT!!! By that logic then overshields obtained by titan barriers should depend on the health stat, and healing form warlock rifts should be as well, but those changes are not made because it'd be something STUPID to do. There are better ways to nerf gambler's dodge, since it's a class ability you could make the refund dependent on the class stat, OR you could make the refund dependent on the amount of enemies near you (as an example, 1 refunds 70%, 2 refunds 85%, 3+ refunds 100%; with majors/champions/bosses counting as more than one).
4) Making exotic drops in EoF TIER ARMOR 2: WHY ON EARTH ARE THEY TIER 2?? EXOTICS ARE SUPOSED TO BE GOOD, TIER 4 WOULD BE UNDERSTANDABLE, TIER 3 AT THE MINIMUM, BUT TIER 2???????????? COME ON.
5) Armor drop archetypes not accounting all playstyles: By making those archetypes there are entire playstyles that wont be able to function!! There is one that gives weapons + grenade, but there is none that gives weapons + melee???? What happened to making your OWN builds, am I just out of luck because bungie decided that my playstyle was not worth making an archetype for???? Limiting rolls like this is DUMB, it would be much better if the armor drops could drop with any combination of primary and secondary stats, also regarding the exotic class items, i feel like it would be better to just let the player pick the primary, secondary and tertiary stats would be a bit better, but in this case I do kind of agree with the approach that was taken.
6) The new gear buffs: I'm gonna keep it short for this one because I'm getting tired of typing... Either make the new gear window last the WHOLE year instead of 6 measly months; or reduce the buffs, the damage shouldn't be more than 5% and the DR shouldn't be more than 7 or 8%

So they're making players choose how invested we are in using said weapon alongside actual weapons. It's the same thing they did with the Titan's throwing hammer. We might actually be able to get a full refund on pickup again. With consecration getting a buff in fragment # (not on prismatic), solar Titan looks playable again. Or this is just another PvP change, because dodging behind cover is their thing. Stasis has always kinda sucked with attack verbs as it only has the one type which builds up to another verb. Yes it doesn't make sense for shatter to stun overloads since they're hyped up on whatever is making them act like they downed a dozen energy drinks quickly, but they've made unstops now more Juggernaut-like walking through a wall of stasis crystals. The warlock stasis turret was kinda broken tbh, you can see it on prismatic in The Glassway GM. Maybe they'll scale back the nerf somehow, like make the prism stasis turret dish out less slow stacks and buff the stasis subclass' version. Also, facet of command makes you have a constant auto reload and adding in devour gets another turret ready quick. Some builds use Transcendence as their dps. Go watch some Vesper's Host Puppeteer solo runs and watch them 2 phase her. I made it through only 1 dps in 2 runs, no extension, over dozens of attempts with everything and failed miserably. It's a high skill art, hands off the artist's pallet. They should make the gear window last the whole year. I understand the fairness to newer gear, but maybe just make them 75-50% as effective.
