You don’t need to own it on day 1. They still sell the game after release so just wait and see. That’s where a lot of us are at right now and that’s perfectly fine. You’ll never get an honest answer off the forums because everybody has their biases and nobody knows 100% what it’s going to look like. If you want to risk it for a couple cosmetics go for it, but it’s not going to hurt to wait and see. This release is more akin to a season. The “major” release is in September. Then another season like dlc in December. This has been on the roadmap for a while now. So, picture it as a season with a massive player build overhaul and ironing out said changes for the major release in September.

They haven’t really shown off much of the paid expansion part. There’s a new raid (again not shown off) if that’s your thing Lots of changes to gear but that’s not exclusive to the expansion itself.
