Seasonal weaon and armor boosts put bluntly a terrible idea and disrepsects the time we invested to get our god rolls

Why would we need a system to cycle through weapons? let alone exotics i may not enjoy using. armor 3.0 and the tiered weapon systems where enough to spice things up ill give credit where credit is due getting a tier 5 Exploding payload Firefly fate bringer would be awesome especially time lost but having my equipment be automatically worse just because i prefer using it over the seasonal gear is EXTREMELY unfair and unfun, and feels like im being forced into using gear i don't like or didint want to begin with! At the very least make the buffs a universal buff for leveling the seasonal artifact instead of tieing them to seasonal gear

  • Everyone constantly complains about the meta and how stale it is so they made a system to solve the problem it's that simple... Constantly changing rules for a constantly changing meta players brought this on themselves....

  • Bungie seems dead set on making new gear the standard to acquire for current content. Once the new content comes out, forget the gear and weapons you'd been earning and working towards. Now work towards these new weapons and gear and selected exotics for the season. Go. Have fun.

      the destiny maintenance team, actually the suits in charge of it, treat player's time like garbage destiny, an IP built on being a space fantasy looter shooter where you got things that were basically forever valuable and useable, is now being changed to a diablo style seasonal model only with embedded power creep on the seasonal stuff to make everything else suck and 5 world tiers to grind forever suits telling them they can't make more content, so instead they are increasing grinds and recycling assets as the only way to try to make more revenue the blunt anvil of grind design is to just make it nonstop power creep, never let anyone 'finish' the game and never let anyone just play for fun and have less grinds going forward

        These guys play way too much Diablo and POE I also think this is not a good idea, players will grind new armor regardless if the set's perks are good *Just make that seasonal armor for each seasons drop way more seasonal resources then without it so that players don't feel too pressured to actually have to seriously grind for it unless they like the set bonuses of it This system is making it more so that you are giving us way more limited options in weapons and build crafting not to mention artifacts mods on top of that limiting even more options forcing players to use weapons and builds that they might not even like.

      • They just need to have a light matter again so you can over level activities and i don't know...have the time we spend grinding matter or something similar....

          THESE IDEAS WILL MAKE DESTINY GREAT AGAIN GUARDIAN RANK ADJUSTMENTS- * Guardian ranks should not reset every season. * Guardian ranks should go to 100 for the start of the new season and stay! Some players work too hard to be played with like that and spent too much time. Resetting ranks will leave bad reviews and bad gaming experiences. * Increasing/Changing the Guardian ranking level system will add a whole new playing experience of lore and character refinement. * Nobody likes starting over when the game tells them to!! This will allow more players to love and actually love playing the game. * Birthdates play a role for ex. IM DRAGONBORN NEW LORE AND PLAYER HOMES SPOUSES FRIENDS AND PETS * The game should offer us to explore more freely not just war all the time especially after completion of all campaigns * All cities should be their own little GTA SERVEer * WORLDS are HUGE! A PLAYER HOME(s) should be tangable for each. Either as base of operations to home to castles to gardens to pet farms, * Dragons and more open world creatures should be more vast were talking about whole worlds here * Tired of seeing the same old stuff and remedy when the game has so much more to offer * The pvp Is super unbalanced nobody wants to play it. Only becasue its pay to play * Once Destiny does these upgrades the game can be sold at top dollar and there wouldnt be anyone who wouldnt want to play. * Could build a Spouse or Find a(NPC) that has friend options and roles to spouses and or lovers the more the marrier * A.I should be implemented to open MIC allowing npcs to hear you and respond based off what you said or say. Not just the same runbdown dialogues cmon people its 2025 only going up from here. ADVANCED MOVEMENT (PARKOUR)- * Wall running should be a thing holding space after jump activates parkour and climbing mechanics more precisely * Just stay attached to the wall while running holding the moving stick toward wall * Jumping again jumps you off the wall possibly to another to begin infinitely * We are not robots the game needs human organic advanced movement! DUAL WEILDING- * All classes start off able to dual wield only pistols (sidearms and hand cannons) * Each character will have their own way of dual wielding; until level guardian rank 25 then all dual wielding options become available * HUNTER- Knives/knight sticks, Machetes, pistols, smgs * WARLOCK- Swords, Pistols, smgs, glaives * TITAN-Scout rifles, glaives, shotguns, smgs, pistols, Grenade launchers * Primary should have only primary * secondary should have only secondary * special Should have only special The way that it is prior these necessities is just garbage and doesn't make any sense to gamers or gaming history. TRADING SYSTEM- • Trading should be a(n) option to anybody that has what another player is willing to buy... ALL CURRENCY (all items) of course you can only use the items on a specific class. * All Characters/Players love a game that isn't money hungry! * Just let the money flow accordingly... once these updates are implemented everyone in the world will buy the game! WARLOCKS WEAR MULTIPLE BONDS- *Something I noticed were these all GOLD Enemies and noticed they are extremely hard even on the easy difficulty sometimes rendering impossible to beat. I Say its cheating * There are two arms you know! * 8 total new bonds should be worn by warlocks if applicable * There are currently 6 spots on each side of the body that these bonds can go making a total of 12 but that's just too OP, so the cap is 8 only leaving 3 available empty spaces depends on how bungie implements these specifications in the character menu. * could be done by adding A Right Hand Slot beside the Original bond slot then going to armor syntheses to relocate them where you want them on the specified area of the body. 1 Top of shoulder 2 Original place (upper arm) 3 Fore arm 4 wrists gauntlet bands 5 Thighs (thigh bands) 6 Ankles ( ankle bands) ^^^of course on both sides^^^ EXOTIC ARMOUR AND WEAPONS MASTERED- *Guardian rank 25 unlocks all dual wielding options for any character and a new piece of exotic equip * Guardian rank 50 unlocks one more piece of equippable exotic * Guardian rank 75 unlocks one more piece of equippable exotic * Guardian rank 100 unlocks all options of exotics with no limitations even on dual wielding after the completion of all campaigns and all forgotten sectors

          • Yeah.... the bonus idea is too short. Every year, it might be fine. But 6 months is gonna burn out more players.

            • We already have Seasonal Weapon and Seasonal Armor boosts, and have had them for years. The difference is that Seasonal Armor currently only drops at 54 or below and has only has a boost that helps you complete the season somewhat faster but not really noticably. These two things meant that nobody cared about "featured" Seasonal Weapons and Seasonal Armor boosts.

              • I think that's an excellent idea, tying the damage and damage resist bonuses to artifact leveling or season pass leveling. They could put these bonuses at an extremely high level, and that would incentivize the grind that Bungie is clearly pushing for without forcing players to give up their old gear. The new tier system is enough to incentivize a new weapon and armor grind, and the New Gear Bonus system just seems like a punishing add-on.
