Why would we need a system to cycle through weapons? let alone exotics i may not enjoy using.
armor 3.0 and the tiered weapon systems where enough to spice things up ill give credit where credit is due getting a tier 5 Exploding payload Firefly fate bringer would be awesome especially time lost but having my equipment be automatically worse just because i prefer using it over the seasonal gear is EXTREMELY unfair and unfun, and feels like im being forced into using gear i don't like or didint want to begin with!
At the very least make the buffs a universal buff for leveling the seasonal artifact instead of tieing them to seasonal gear

Edited by longevity: 6/29/2025 1:56:04 PMthe destiny maintenance team, actually the suits in charge of it, treat player's time like garbage destiny, an IP built on being a space fantasy looter shooter where you got things that were basically forever valuable and useable, is now being changed to a diablo style seasonal model only with embedded power creep on the seasonal stuff to make everything else suck and 5 world tiers to grind forever suits telling them they can't make more content, so instead they are increasing grinds and recycling assets as the only way to try to make more revenue the blunt anvil of grind design is to just make it nonstop power creep, never let anyone 'finish' the game and never let anyone just play for fun and have less grinds going forward
