Armor archetypes seem bad

Armor archetypes seem like a way for Bungie to "balance" the game to stop combos like super/weapon (which would be meta in a lot of content) from being available but all it ends up doing is restricting how players can make their builds. I know the tertiary is random and will still offer a lot towards whichever stat you want, but the secondary stat would no doubt be useless in many of the builds I currently have. My combination blow build would rather class instead of health for the overshield on class ability usage, but if I want to build into melee I would get health instead, which I wouldn't really need b/c combination blow and liar's handshake already heal me enough. My Young Ahamkara's Spine build would rather melee/class/health/weapon over super, but if I want to build into grenade I would get super instead, which isn't an important part of the build. A prismatic build I have which is heavy into weapons definitely doesn't grenade as a secondary stat, etc etc. It seems like a half-baked solution to a problem Bungie themselves are creating, and it honestly kills a lot of my desire to farm armor once Edge of Fate releases, b/c I know I won't get the stat combos I want in most cases. Even if more armor archetypes were added later, it would just feel convoluted and unnecessary.
