Prismatic: Bungie isn't following its own game lore

So we've seen the changes/nerfs/reverts coming for prismatic, this isn't so much as a nerf whine more of a statement that stuck out on the recent twab ( it sounds better than twid, get over it already ) "to bring it in line with the other subclasses" you guys clearly have gotten rid of the final shape staff haven't you because last i checked prismatic was a mastery and culmination of our power over light and dark....the epitome we reached and peaked at to bring the battle to the witness.......and you the developers forget your own lore you right the whole point of prismatic is it IS meant to be better than the other subclasses because its meant to be STRONGER than, and we are meant to be STRONGER for using it that was the whole point of the traveller granting it us and us unlocking it, its meant to be something of our own that noone else has achieved and it should stay that way........yet you guys are watering down to fit in with your fun police "balance" notion when you should be doubling down on it instead, prismatic is one part of what made final shape amazing and with the recent lackluster developments of edge of fate why not capitalise on that? why are there no ability rotations for prismatic, why are there no new supers for prismatic? why is there no new fragments for prismatic? you should have added more to it to keep it fresh and feeling new with some new exotic class item combinations to flesh out our new and rotated in abilties, not literally destroying one element of the game ( and lore ) that made the previous expansion great.

  • They will probably come up with some lore reason like they did with Stasis - which, for Stasis, was along the lines of "The Darkness started off strong to lure Guardians into using it, the Vanguard forbade it because of this, so the Darkness adapted itself to become more 'friendly'"(I'm not even joking, go look up the Witch Queen Limited Edition physical lore book). I bet the reason for Prismatic, lore wise, will be: "The Traveler feels less under threat, so it chose to relax the power it granted us in the form of Prismatic. Even the wells of Prismatic energy within the Pale Heart now seem glow with less intensity."
