Bungie has spent too much time and effort listening to the small but fanatic group of players who only play to do Raids A large majority of Destiny 2 players rarely do Raids. They do the weekly items plus Dungeons, strikes, Lost Sectors, Gambit and Crucible.
This needs to stop. Bungie would have a lot more regular players in Destiny 2 if they spent more time on the Campaigns, making new maps for strikes, Gambit and Crucible.

I get what you are saying but... I kinda have to disagree. It's elitist community ruining stuff for people. Imo raids are best part this game has to offer. Some locations within raids are simply stunning, rewards are mostly great and engaging with mechanics and overcoming some hard challenge on master mode is probably most rewarding feeling this game has to offer. BUT it certainly lacks some kind of guidance and proper introduction to raids so other people could engage with this content. I'd totally get it if someone would try to hop on SE as first raid and getting completely disheartened to continue playing raids. Explorer mode would be welcome solution and could have great impact on how raids are perceived by majority. My point of course doesn't devalue yours - of course core playlists should expand but also let's not dramatize: we are getting ONE raid per year at this point so they are hardly the problem.
