Bungie has spent too much time and effort listening to the small but fanatic group of players who only play to do Raids A large majority of Destiny 2 players rarely do Raids. They do the weekly items plus Dungeons, strikes, Lost Sectors, Gambit and Crucible.
This needs to stop. Bungie would have a lot more regular players in Destiny 2 if they spent more time on the Campaigns, making new maps for strikes, Gambit and Crucible.

D1 had a different vibe…we raided virtually nonstop. Sunset debacle happened…everything changed for the worst - imho, and many, many players bounced. Me too…to WF. Some time later, on a wave of nostalgia, I returned…but not as before…this time, it’d be different, and it’s been that way ever since. The D2 vibe is nothing like the D1 vibe: iykyk! 👈 Here’s what I’d like to see: all raid / dungeon weapons be sold for a goodly amount of materials + bright dust…to make them more readily available to the greater majority of players that don’t do raids or dungeons - for a variety of reasons. As long as the costs of such are not stupid, engagement with the game would increase dramatically. And it would also reduce burnout by the minority that are still chasing unicorns at 50-100+ runs without getting the drop desired. Some 😤 will squeal at this…though, I daresay, many will not. 🤔 That is all. Ease Springs! 🖖
