1. Give 100 more vault space - its not a perfect solution but it buys time for whatever is planned in renegades.
2. Remove the buff for new gear - it going to make lfg less approachable and strong arm players into newer gear for high level content.
3. Make pvp more balanced - pvp needs balancing and fixing a bit so it's more appealing to players so more play it and that helps with the gap in between content (Not a pvp main).
4. Stop making old content redundant - content like blind well and dares are now pretty pointless as you never update that stuff it just hurts the game.
5. Stop nerfing in pve - buff underpeforming aspects and abilities and exotics so we have a wider pool for build crafting. Look at the devour nerf as example it is un needed as it was well balanced already.
6. Find a good balance between crafting and RnG - they could co exist giving something for both sides of the crafted weapon argument.
7. Replace the leadership - the current bungie leadership have messed up so much its a miracle that A. Anyone wanted to buy the studio and B. Bungie isn't bankrupt.
I still like destiny there are very few games like it for me and I don't want to see it end just yet but I feel if bungie carry on in its current direction destiny won't survive much longer.

Or….make it free. There’s not much value in it so far shown. Some seasons had more meat than this, and they were $10!!!!!

Honestly, Bungie could do three simple things that have absolutely zero impact on gameplay or loot and get a ton of goodwill from the casual community: 1. More customization options for Guardian appearance, including facial hair and hair ornaments. 2. Allow helmets off even in combat zones. 3. Swap Guardian race in the modification menu, since it really doesn’t matter anymore.
1. Give 100 more vault space - its not a perfect solution but it buys time for whatever is planned in renegades.
No, try creating an environment where people don't feel the need to stockpile 'okay' gear because they don't think that the actually good gear is ever going to drop (and then they won't even need the space they have)
2. Remove the buff for new gear - it going to make lfg less approachable and strong arm players into newer gear for high level content.
Definitely - play how you want, not how you're told to.
3. Make pvp more balanced - pvp needs balancing and fixing a bit so it's more appealing to players so more play it and that helps with the gap in between content (Not a pvp main).
CammyCakes actually has some very good ideas on this in a recent video
4. Stop making old content redundant - content like blind well and dares are now pretty pointless as you never update that stuff it just hurts the game.
This. Very much this. It's a much easier job to make old stuff relevant again than it is to create something entirely new that only lasts for three months
5. Stop nerfing in pve - buff underpeforming aspects and abilities and exotics so we have a wider pool for build crafting. Look at the devour nerf as example it is un needed as it was well balanced already.
Separate sandboxes - we've said this time and time and time again...
6. Find a good balance between crafting and RnG - they could co exist giving something for both sides of the crafted weapon argument.
ESO has a nice system; in order to craft a piece of 'dropped' gear, you first have to have had it drop in a certain slot and then you also have to know how to craft a basic piece in that same slot with the same traits. It means that can farm for a piece in that slot without having to worry about the roll and then craft and upgrade it as long as you have the knowledge and materials.
7. Replace the leadership - the current bungie leadership have messed up so much its a miracle that A. Anyone wanted to buy the studio and B. Bungie isn't bankrupt.
This won't have the effect you think it will, because the majority of the 'current' Bungie leadership have held leadership roles since Halo, and the 'Chief Vision Officer' (who dictates the entire creative output of the company) is one of the company founders. As a result, the entire company culture and attitude has seeped down into every corner of the company. Removing the management wouldn't make things any better, just considerably less organised.

What you're not interested in going back to the Salt Mines in the Portal and fighting the Taken and doing it again and again fighting the Dredd, the original was the Fallen, what about the Vex next time? Cabal? We can do the Cabal? Guy's we got Cabal, right? Hive... anyone? Hive do we have the Hive... Anywho This is quite a leap forward for the Tiger Engine, it is older than you are. FFs. Are you ungrateful or something? Don't be ungrateful! Ungrateful is unsavory. We put new enemies in old spaces just for you. Bend thy knee and kiss thy ring ingrate.

You raise an excellent point about LFG toxicity, I had not considered as a factor. What i can see is that with EoF they are re-using a seasonal model that the stopped using in 2021 after Season of the Chosen. this was designed to slow down players progress, and spin out a smaller content package, but this burned out the hardcore and frustrated the casuals, leading to players exiting the game.
have PL over 9000 with all tier 5 armour sets, must have XYZ weapons all tier 5, and unlocked all artifact mods in the first 5 mins of launch.
TL:DR LFG = yikes my dudes

Good points, let’s add: Whoever asked for more jumping puzzles and turning into a ball can go eat dry vegan cake.

EoF = End of Fun.

They're literally doing number 4, that's the whole point of the portal. They want us to grind out levels in old content with difficulty modifiers. As much as you're saying that's what you want back, that's one of the big reasons why myself and many of my friends have no interest in EoF.

None of this addresses the core issue: Destiny is old AF.

Edited by xbroggiex: 6/30/2025 9:27:13 PM1. They are planning on increasing vault space in renegades along with some QoL features for the vault. 2. The boost is so marginal it really doesn't matter and by the time most people are getting the higher boosts the season will be close to concluding. 3. PvP will be balanced when pigs fly. 4. They plan on sort of doing this with major updates adding new and reprised activities to the portal and cycling them in and out of it and updating the activities with relevant loot and rewards. 5. Nerfs sometimes need to happen to crackdown on outliers that vastly overwhelm the sandbox just look at prismatic titan. Though I disagree with the way they went about doing it, not the actual fact it got nerfed. 6. They seemingly plan on doing this by making crafting a catchup mechanic as it should be, crafting shouldn't replace the main loot system entirely which is RNG rolled gear. 7. I agree, but this won't happen.

Two weeks my guy. They can’t change what it is. Honestly we know what the weapons and armor changes are but we know very little about everything else. Watch the reveal tomorrow.
