Play the game
Title says everything, play the game you make / work on. Until you start actually dumping hours playing it, you won't know what needs fixed or what you can improve. Everybody can blah blah blah about what in this game needs fixed. But genuinely turn it on like it's your first time ever playing it. There is no way you are actually play testing this game live with other real players. PvP or PvE. And if it's the overlords making all the decisions, well I guess cheers -blam!- send it lol

That's the thing, though. They don't play their game. Ever since they changed their motto, it's clear that not everyone in bungie plays the games they want to make. They make worlds that inspire fomo, I mean, friendship.

2 RepliesThey fired everyone. How do you have time to play the game regularly when you are stretched thin? It's more convenient for them to get a pulse check from content creators. After all their content design philosophy is going to YouTube for guides and other info.

I reckon they are burnt out on playing it. Can't be fun working on the game going home than playing it that would definitely burn anyone out and kill passion for it.

Well, I mean they say in the livestream "oh yes you will be able to do this thing that makes the game FUN" then 2 weeks later NERF into near useless. It's like they put the fear of being fired into playtesters so much they act as sycophants rather than the harsh critics they SHOULD BE.
