Let me get this straight with 70 melee stat I can gamblers dodge and get my smoke nade back fully right. I no longer have to be near enemies right lol. So technically we can just spam smoke nades
Just run a double dodge exotic and high class ability stat for cooldown and it’s a wrap lol.
Bungie did not think this one through lol

You know what? Give it to 'em! Make all the hunter haters eat it. They praise this PvE nerf acting like it's deserved! So just rain hate. Make them demand bungie to change it back!
-
So I think the change is fine IF they also reduce the cool-down of gamblers dodge. When you take something away you need to add something back, other wise its a nerf not a rework.
-
Yes you can but tbh smokes arent that big of an issue anymore. These things barely tickles now and are only good at blocking a rez for a few seconds in trials. Other than that i tend to just slide into smoke clouds to kill the hunter who put that dirty thing there. If you sprint inside of it you take what ? 30 dmg ?
-
Ok how are people still playing 20-30 games of control in one sitting ?! PvP is so bad now …lucky to get that one good balanced game …it’s like a jack pot now. All the full timers using all the meta all the guns for easy kills …addicted bots 🤷🏼♂️ Also what is it with the same people who choose not to cap ? That’s the all point of control to win ?! Ughhhhh 🙄😂

Yeah this gonna be broken af on a lot of build. Even though smoke got nerf hard, you can just throw it at their face and increase your chance of winning a gunfight massively. Samething can be said about those knife randomly kill you from far away.

With the gamblers change, smoke is one of the smaller things you'll need to worry about.
-
Calibans chain kills are going to be funny
-
You think they thought any of it through ? They are obviously clueless and are just throwing crap at the wall and seeing if it sticks.
-
I think the big problem is they still aren't separating the PVP and PVE sandboxes. Honestly, I think the problem here is that anybody with less than 70 melee will be hurting from the nerf, especially if the cooldown increases, but above 70 melee will cause them to be OP cannons. Honestly, they should leave GD alone so it doesn't flux the sandbox. It's... Somewhat... Balanced the way that it is. Enough that it isn't a problem.
-
Its funny, because half the players think its a huge nerf, and the other half thinks its a huge buff
-
Basically a nerf in PvE and a buff in PvP. Should have just left it alone tbh.
